I think the 5s lasts longer because apple was slowing down phones when the battery degraded, they stopped doing that since they got backlash and a lawsuit.

I’m kinda excited for this phone to come in I currently have a 12 pro max but my bottom speakers blew out and don’t want to replace them unless it’s actual Apple hardware unfortunately Not a local tech or Apple Tech in my area can get the battery for my phone I use my phone a lot for work and it’s already down to 82% health so until batteries are back in I’m going to just have to rock the SE which I don’t mind I picked it up $130 excellent condition unlocked and if it’s still got two years of updates well I’m definitely sold $130 every two years rather then $120 a month for a contract and cell service

I've not experienced the 80% cap, but I also don't use fast charging on mine. I've had it since 2020, and it's been a good phone for me. My only major complaint now is the battery life, but my capacity has been at 78% for months now. Waiting to see if they release a new SE or smaller iPhone again before I buy anything new. I don't want a bigger phone.

You should look at the Mini iPhones. Smaller form factor with better specs and a larger display.

The reason why the battery slows charging at 80% might be because optimised battery option is on

i've bought se 2020 (2gen) in late 2020. i've been using it for 3,5 years. for me this phone is alr. it does everything that honestly i need from my phone to do. battery life is shit but it lasts me for a day of my normal usage. it's smooth and it doesen't lag. it's much better than my prevous phone Xiaomi redmi note 6 pro beacouse this phone laged awfuly after a year and was unusable. i might upgrade it when the new se 4gen will come out. it sucks that there is no resale value on that but for 400$ it was a good phone for 4 years

On the SE 3, it has the same processor as the 13, the A15 processor.

I use phones likes these to make money. Basically paid of the se 3. Been thinking about picking one up for the phone farm, but iphones are not good for phone farming.

@@tabbypears Long story short you use apps that pay you for your time per minute. That is the true form of phone farming. The new definition is using technology to make "beer money". Bought SE3 and am currently using it to make money buy watching videos.
