What I like about these videos and the canoes that Puakea makes is that they really do work as they are described. A lot of times I think there isn't a whole lot of information about the canoes and water craft out there other than weight classes and physical configurations. Keep up the Good work JP and team puakea!

Hey Mana! The Kahele will work OK for people in your weight class especially in flat and smaller waters. We have a friend on the Kahele in the 220LB range who loves surfing and doing downwind runs on his canoe. But he is more of the exception, big fit Tahitian guy. We are releasing a new canoe this summer called the Volare that has a little more volume and would probably be more of what you are looking for.
