unfortunately most video game adaptations are pretty average, often suffering from poor writing, a disregard for the source material, an inadequate budget, the mis casting of characters or a combination of all three.
The Last of Us looks primed to break free of the curse of video game adaptations.
Based on one of the greatest video games of all time consisting of an interesting world, engaging story and complex characters which provides an amazing blueprint for adaptation into a tv series.

Never played the game and am looking forward to the show as any sort of zombie stuff interests me. It is super off-putting how many grown men are online bashing Bella Ramsey for not being pretty or 'fit' enough for Ellie. It's so freaking gross like why can't you just enjoy a show without perving out on every female character?!?

I think the spores do add some great atmosphere. It made being stuck in a building a truely scary proposal. Now with that removed it might deminish the danger factor Because not all buildings and undergrounds areas have spores so you can pick and choose

Apparently the way the "tendrils" work, is that they act as a trap. If you graze or touch them, they'll alert nearby infected to your area. So I am assuming that even though it won't be as creepy or hazy as the spores, itll still be a pretty big ass threat.

It is an interesting concept and to be honest might have some potential. Though see the spores would have made for some great visuals

That's fair enough I am sure it won't be for every one. Though I think it has a number of strong elements that might elevate the adaptation. Who would you like to see cast as Joel and Ellie?

I have been watching, At first I just wanted to see the 2 actors from Game of thrones,as they were two of my fav's.. But now I think it will be a real good series 👏.

I've never been a fan of Pedro. He has made alot of leftist lies and its soured my taste for shows he's in. PLus he isnt the best look alike, same with ellie However great video
