The cost is crazy to me because with that amount of crowns you could just buy your own crowns mount and probably a pretty high level henchman to carry you through every fight you'd ever have trouble with up to that level. You could get up to level 50 pretty quick and painlessly that way and probably still not actually hit 30,000. The elixer needs to be wayyy cheaper to be even marginally worth it, OR there needs to be a way to get a free one. Maybe you get one when you get your first character to max?? Just one per account? I think that'd be pretty fun actually.

I think it's good to have it available for those who want it. A lot of adults don't have much time to play and would rather spend $30-$50 (depending on the deal they got) to skip to the worlds they enjoy most. It also frequently comes on sale. KI keeps those players interested in the content, which generates even more money to keep the game alive. For those of us (me included) who would never consider it, we don't need to buy it. Everyone wins overall - more players ingame and more money for new content! 😊

I say this as someone who bought TWO in the last 10 minutes: I dont have the patience to replay arc 1 on what are probably the harder schools to do it with, when the content I enjoy starts at level 50

Call me crazy but a level elixir 50 effect should be base kit. Like if you have at least 2 wizards above 140 and completed the highest world, Lemuria. They should give the options at least skip some part of the game. As much as I love the early parts, I have multiple accounts and have done it 20 times. If I have an account that proves i've already beaten the game more than enough, I should get some reward. It could be in Mooshu, Dragon sppyre, or even marleybone. If I could do that i'd spend a lot more time and money on new wizards. Saving that 10-15 hours of gameplay across multiple wizards really does add up.

I had a friend that bought 5 of these for one account... Cause he REALLY wanted to max all his characters. But umm... Here's the issues with the elixir. 1) It's WAAAY to expensive for what you actually get. 2) It doesn't complete important sidequests up to level 50 (Like the Zeke and Crafting Quests) 3) All your early game important ranks dont increase whatsoever (Like Gardening/Fishing) 4) The gear you get, isn't in no way comparable to any of the other gear at level 50, it's almost just garbage. 5) You're missing out on a lot of fun story quests... Like your unique school quests. 6) Oh did I mention... IT DOESN'T GET ANY CHEAPER THE CLOSER TO LVL 50 YOU ARE. EDIT: (I know I've edited this comment 3 times but... Eugh) You know what the level 50 Elixir does? It just devalues the entire first arc. If they're willing to sell you an option to skip that much of the game, it just makes Wizard City having a paywall even MORE ridiculous... OH OH ALSO, you could almost buy the entire first arc with Crowns for $50! Just sayin...

let's say it takes 10 hours to finish arc one. let's also say that I have a job and make $100 an hour. That means it costs $1000 of my time to beat arc one... or I could spend $60 to beat arc one with the elixir. Probably rare that this happens but it is a possibility.

Giant salary aside, you don't get paid for your time outside of your job, so it costs exactly $0 of your time to beat arc 1. And if you're taking time off work just to play (in which case it _would_ cost you $1000 of your time), that's a different issue.

I feel like if you feel the need to spend $50 just to skip part of the game because you dont want to spend the time to do it, you dont find the game that enjoyable in the first place. Some peoples cases may be different but I see a lot of people saying the value time over money and just dont want to spend the time on the first arc

I can honestly say I agree I bought it one time and now that character is level 56 because it just wasn’t fun for me to not have gone through the early game I think the early game struggle is what makes the game more fun but that’s just me even if I have done it multiple times it’s same for the later worlds done them multiple times as well imo enjoy the character all the way through and you’ll appreciate it more if you still don’t want to get someone to carry your wiz for the first arc and save some crowns but to each their own

I used it on my ice bc ice during the first arc DRAGS and you don’t even get a blade until level 30 something but in my opinion I value time over money. I’m not gonna waste my time doing the first arc on ice when I can spend money and get to lvl 50. It’s also one of those things where I have all 7 schools at max and after doing it so many times If I can make it quicker I will. But I only did it for my ice

The simple answer is you can't...solo! You need to have another account or a higher level friend who will kill everything fast and you skip through the story. Having utility of 2 mark locations skips a lot of the running between people/places too. I enjoy the story too much for speed questing but a lot of people do it to get to the more challenging battles and newest content faster, especially if they have multiple wizards who already did it before. Battles are pretty fast but I potter about listening to the story, getting distracted by reagents on the ground, falling into the occasional silver chest...oh and almost always using my energy refill from a level up! I absolutely LOVE it! As far as speed of questing, @Prada seems to be a happy medium between the two of us! 😁

Useful for those like me who can spend the money and don't want to bother with Arc1, but if you're someone who's short on Money then i can see why spending $50 on an elixir can seem outrageous.

Personally, except for its price i like it. I used it on my balance wizard. After doing it all with my life, and the fact i can pass dragonspyre is nice. Ive never cared for the quests with that world

I actually got a level 50 elixir for free. Ok so first I made a new account cause my main account was banned due to account sharing. It took me a years or so to get 5 characters to max because of school and work, but I was also doing trivia every day and I had spent no money but membership every month but after a few hundred days of trivia bs answering the same questions I ended with 32,400 crowns and that was 324 days of trivia I went straight to the crown shop and bought the level 50 elixir for my life because who tf want to quest a life without ratspin and Noah if you don’t read all this I understand but I lover your content

I think another thing you mentioned in the video that doesn’t make it worth it but didn’t really talk about was the effective xp gained. Since you get dropped into the beginning of celestia (which you can get to lvl 50 with this before around the time you finish dragonspyre while beating also beating all of grizzleheim, let alone wintertusk), skipping a decent chunk of wintertusk like you said effectively cuts out a lot of xp that you could have otherwise gotten when you consider what level you could be after normally questing through wintertusk (I think for reference a wizard I had got level 50 by the time he reached mid-Austrilund/vestrilund). Not to mention you can easily get level 50+ before even attempting wintertusk by doing side quests in all other available worlds (on my ice I aimed to do all side quests and was about lvl 53/54 going into celestia pre-wintertusk).

I dont think you miss out on xp, you just need to go do the things that normally give xp. Like, Mt olympus, normal side quest, and wintertusk sidequests will probably catch you up to where you would normally be.

I mean- To be fair, It does unlock Celestia up till the Grotto (As is past the grotto is the paywall) Doesnt change the fact it still sucks but, some mild buffing to the gear to make it at LEAST decent and a price drop to maybe 15,000 crowns (Which is somewhere between 15-30 depending on how and when you buy your crowns) could make it fairly decent (It does also give you your school pet from the quest but its not leveled any so its practically useless)

I think it is only worth it if you have already played through the first arc several times and you want to challenge your self during arc 2 and 3 by not having good stats and not having a lot of training points since you can only get 11 training points without doing any of zeke's side quest especially if you want to do a ice wizard and you can't get any consistent help from friends or random players since ice can't Deal significant damage until they either get feint or they can combo Astral spells to maximize damage in the shortest amount of time

I bought this for my own death when I got stuck on my storm main (I'm a solo player) and I can confirm it's just ..not worth it. The ONLY thing I could think of that makes it "worthwhile" is if you're one of the odd little ducklings who likes the second story arc and just wanted to be there already. Which, if you are, my condolences. But once I purchased this elixir, it kind of killed any interest I had in my death for a very long time, especially since I like to complete as many quests in a world before moving on which this elixir obviously doesn't do.

30k crowns to skip 50 levels that is insane, but KI has an issue pricing things, we can see that in pets that range from 5-12k crowns, the only way a pet should cost this much is if it already has good talents in the pool period no selfish talents period, second mounts why are mounts to expensive? if they cost from 10k plus they should have talents as well like the bronto, the battle ,etc, and my final opinion on the elixir they should have a level 100 one for that price, with every pre-quest done and spells only way I can see an elixir costing instead of 30k-50k.

can you explain how you'd get a wizard from level 1 to 100 in 30 hours? personally it takes 30 hours just to go through azteca/khrysalis if im really rushing it, i'd say it takes about a week to go from 1-100

Known fact: They DID have a level 100 elixir, which cost around 60,000 or 80,000 worth of crowns till they removed it and kept the 50 elixir instead

I think its def worth, time is money. Also if you buy crowns in bulk on sales like I do then 30k is not that expensive. I usually buy crowns at 1200 per $1 or 1150 per $1 etc. I think of it in terms as it would take me 2-3 hours at my job to make enough for one of these elixirs. It would take me a LOT longer than that to get level 50. Just my opinion though.

Personally I would never pay to skip dragonspyre or any last world of an arc lol the arcs build up to that very moment and all of the worlds felt different? Dragonspyre gave me so much adrenaline and i honest to God felt like malistaire was gonna do his thing at anytime, while khrysalis felt like a long journey. Empyrea a little similar but also gave me adrenaline especially when mandalla was destroyed (destroyed and devastating areas make me so emotional LOL) honestly you're also skipping some cool lore and if the potion skipped all the way TO dragonspyre instead of the entire arc I'd be more willing to get it haha
