HI KEVIN THANK YOU FOR SHARING..IM STRUGGLING TRYING TO DISCONNECT. I AM ON A MONTH AND 2 WEEKS OF THE SILENT TREATMENT. THIS PERSON IS TREATING ME LIKE I DON'T EXIST.. Understand you are in a trauma bond we all have been there going grey rock only help you to a point in order for you have some time to find yourself again and understand we have given all of us but they dont really care for us...this are hard words to digest but its the truth...God Bless

The first thing to understand in getting over a narcissist is that everything they did was an act. When he loved bombed you it was an act all of the charm was an act and everything was fake and phony. Just like if you were on the outside looking in and you saw your best friend going through the same thing and you could see and understand what was happening you would be able to tell your friend that everything he did was an act..... So take this information to heart and recall all the dirty hurtful things that he did to you understanding now that it was all an act. And this will help break the trauma bond that you have with that person. Every time you might long for that person remember all the hurtful things they did and the reason why because they were presenting themselves as something they are not. The mask🎭 has slipped and now you see who they really are. And when someone shows you who they are believe them ! Keep your head held high and remember you did nothing wrong and that they are the one with the problem. Make it a priority of putting yourself first and never be afraid to tell someone no. Be sure to adhere to your boundaries and deal breakers and be thirsty for no one. Always think with your head and not your heart for narcissists move very fast to not allow you to think or for anyone to warn you about who they are. And if someone tells you they love you after a very short time or that you are their soulmate... How can that be when they don't know you. So always think with your head and don't let your emotions guide you down the road of heartache.

@@demigaines5644 they do this as a form of punishment because he'll come back but nothing has changed and then he will treat you worse than he did the first time. Their silent treatment is a way for them to get you to comply and submit to them and never give them any flack. A narcissist treats their intended victims as if they own them. They don't have the capacity to actually love anyone. If you ever see them with someone else never feel jealous because they're treating that person the same way or worse ! They will never change because they don't think there's anything wrong with them.
