Marcellus, Kawaii won a championship in Toronto when he was the boss of his own team ,can’t take that away from him, but to me his legacy, whenever his name pops up, all my brain tells me is injured, injured, injured. Those guys sitting down resting all through the season because they aren’t hundred percent, when I lived in Toronto, they were trying to get the Raptors going and they had a exhibition game there Pistons against somebody I forget who, everybody in town, including me, went to see Isaiah, he played for two minutes somebody elbowed him, he sat on the bench, the rest of the game, and we all knew it was cause he just didn’t want to play, I left halfway through it sucked we go to see the stars, we appreciate the role players that big ticket to go see the stars, I lost respect for him, never cared for him. After that, some people think they’re bigger than the game, the fans are the game, not to mention he ruined the next when I lived in New York. Anyways, I’m rambling.

I’m a fan of the tournament, but I think it’s a bit pointless. Having games scattered throughout November is silly; why not just take a break from the regular season to do it properly? I think the tournament would mean even more if you gave the home-court advantage to the first round or some kind of advantage in the playoffs. That’s just my two cents, but I still enjoy the tournament but I won't make effort to just watch it.

Correction, the NBA used to have fans. I'm 44. The NBA was my favorite league my entire life up until the mid-2010s. I haven't watched a game in ~5 years, and a lot of other people are tuning out, too. It's just a fact. The NBA is what happens when analytics takes over a sport. They forgot that, first and foremost, professional sports is supposed to be an entertaining TV product. There's no manhood in the NBA anymore. It's a bunch of 7 footers shooting 3 pointers. Load management has actually made players more physically fragile. It's a boring product. That's not complaining. That's the objective truth. We went from Pretty Boy Floyd to ballet.

It was cool seeing a unique player out a role doing something but now every PG has to be like 6’6 at least or they don’t get on the court it’s ridiculous every game is the same shootaround and ft contest not basketball. Without even realizing I found myself genuinely tuned into the hockey playoffs last year and season now, I actually enjoy watching it something I haven’t felt for basketball since Kobe left
