"Why The NBA Should Be SCARED of The Boston Celtics..."
THIS VIDEO! 💥
The Boston Celtics have been on FIRE lately with statement wins against the Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, And Philadelphia 76ers. Since the Derrick White trade, they have looked close to unbeatable. In this video I breakdown their number one ranked defense that has had teams on locked down all 2022. Robert Williams III and Marcus Smart are all-defensive team locks, plus Al Horford, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, and Grant Williams have all played some amazing defense. Ime Udoka has gotten this team to buy in defensively with the personnel they have, and the team hasn’t looked back since. They are legitimately championship contenders after their early season struggles.

ABOUT ME! 💥
I am a 19 year old basketball fanatic who enjoys creating KZbin videos. I've been watching the NBA for nearly a decade now, as I first became a huge fan of Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls. I also have become a big fan of Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Trae Young, along with many other great NBA players. I enjoy playing basketball as well, and I'd love to make real-life basketball videos in the near future! For now though, you can enjoy 3 high quality NBA related videos a week right here on the channel at 7-8 PM EST.

It's like they say, Offense wins games, Defense wins championships. Obviously, a big part of their offense goes through the Jays, with everyone else chipping in here and there. There are going to be games they lose because they have off-shooting nights, but in a 7 game series, defense is going to sustain you, and is more consistent. Biggest threat is going to be if we have any injuries, and then off-shooting nights.

I dont think they need either 1 or 2 seed. 3 and 4 for me is the sweet spot right now in the east. I would rather face a banged up Bulls team or a young inexperience Cavs team over 2 battle tested teams in Nets and Raptors. Both team also has players that can get hot at any given time.

@WillSoTrill
@WillSoTrill 2 жыл бұрын
Highly disagree with this. One and two are most definitely Rob & Smart, all-defensive team locks for this season. I say Horford is third because of the value he brings as a switchable big, and then it’s up to who you think is better between Tatum & Brown. This season it’s Tatum for me. But don’t think this is disrespecting him in anyway. It’s just how GREAT this whole team is on that end. Like I said Brown being the “weakest” defender in the lineup is WILD. Because he’s good

@@WillSoTrill I know you didn't say Horford is better then Jb 😆 he is solid at this stage of his career but nah bro Robert Williams is a vary good shot blocker and a ok 1 on 1 Defender yeah Marcus Smart is the best defender on the team Brown is better than Tatum on defense.

Udoka came from Popovich's coaching tree. So Im not surprise to see these kind of elite defense from them. It probably just took him a while to make everyone buy-in since he's a rookie headcoach and basically has a non-existent reputation as a player.
@WillSoTrill

That’s now Kerr, Bud, & Udoka. Maybe even forgetting others. His coaching tree is crazy!
@michaelconstantinemiranda2352
@michaelconstantinemiranda2352 2 жыл бұрын
@@WillSoTrillanother one for Pop's coaching tree is Memphis' Taylor Jenkins. You can also include borrego of charlotte, although he's having a hard time putting everything together but atleast the team has vastly improved since he tookover.The only coaches from his tree that failed so far is lloyd pierce although his circumstance in atlanta didnt helped much and Brett Williams. Along with stellar defensive scheme, their ability to create a culture of team basketball even if they have legit stars is the most impressive thing they possess. Just look at their teams, Warriors, Memphis, Celtics and Mil all have legit megastar but when you think about those teams you'll not think of them as star-centric team like the lakers,sixers or nets. Each team has an identity and it only became possible because of their ability to subdue their superstar's ego and lit their fire when needed. Udoka had some growing pains early in the season as he tried to figure out to everybody which is given since he's a rookie headcoach. As much as I love Bradley, but his stoic nature made the celtics soft. You wont be saying that about this team under Udoka.

Boston needs to get into better shape...up 2-1, lose 4-2. They were tired. Out of gas.. Imo...they should have started their conditioning workouts, for next season, 2022-2023 already! YES! And keep doing the workouts during the season. Otherwise, the Bucks may be back in the finals. they should know this, it's for their own good. but, we will see.

I don’t think we making it pass the second round (unless we get Philly second round lol) because we have no vet role players or especially role tough vet players like for example a player like pat bev , pj tucker or Bobby Portis guys like that who can play defense aggressive and hit the 3 ball when open .. even a melo would be cool for a vet voice to be around who’s not soft spoken ……. Once teams double Tatum the Celtics offense looks lost .. and he’ll be doubled the whole time in playoffs so if brown don’t step up or guys like white and grant to hit them open 3s we not making it far
