I main eve since season 3 sort off, I was a midlaner till season 5 so I really started playing eve after S5 and graves has never been a hard matchup for me personally. I reached D1 back in the days just to paint a picture. I honestly find Ivern these days more annoying then graves. You can easily ooutscale graves and Graves is relying a lot more on making things happen then Eve is imo.

im wondering that, especially because he saw graved botside, he could have finished the grub and or invaded after, the only thing that comes to mind is he had a lot of gold to spend and after spending that would have better tempo (more items purchased) if he recalls immediately - which DOES pay off when he's able to kill the graves afterwards !

It tells everyone you finish them and also they respawn so enemy can do them. Basically i get 2 grubs but enemies get 0, unless they kill the last one and reveal themselves. Then i can take the next 3 in that case.

At 33:31 I agree that sometimes champs that have counters like gragas or urgot starting with E is a bad idea. However you can clearly see the evelynn W bug manifesting itself and omg it is cancer (urgot literally E while charmed ). The problem with eve W is that the charm when procked it doesn't instantly take effect but 0.5 sec after you proc it leaving opportunities for the enemy to counter you (I've had the same shit with yas, yone, lb, and so many more champs countering me bcs of that 0.5 sec window which has been there ever since eve got reworked). It sucks how riot is quick to nerf eve but when it comes into fixing her bugs they dont even care.

Quick question, why did you flash at 11:20? I get the Q and Blue smite, but why did you flash right ahead of him? Is it an Azir specific thing to block him from moving with his soldiers? Thanks!

azir can summon soldiers with W, use Q to reposition them and then use E to dash to the location of one of the soldiers. azir E dash gets stopped as soon as he hits a champion (like gragas body slam) so i flashed to cancel his ability !

graves players are known to invade, usually after raptors but they also should know eve is weak early, so strong early vs weak early he's gonna want to invade. Then if you look closely, Anthony is keeping a very close eye mainly on bard, but also on the midlaner and adc to see if they're going to respond to the counter invade, I think the good play if he saw the enemy responding to the invade was just to leave and farm bot side and have an early game ruined, but try to get the cs back

You know I have been maxing Eve's W second even when all the guides back then said Q-E-W priority. I feel the extra charm duration and the damage % you inflict on the opponent is great. I feel one good way to just obliterate graves is to not interact with him for the entirety of early game. Most graves will be super cocky and start dueling and even deep chasing you because they know their stupid champ will win no matter what. They are also kinda predictable because most of the time they'll camp you or counter jg while waiting for you since you no have a real way to contest them early on. So focus on getting their jg camp while warding and start ganking as much as possible to keep pressure on lanes, you don't even have to kill yet until you get SEAL. At lv6 is where they can't do much to you. This is only if the Graves knows how to play his champ and macro, but if the player is an average graves, you can just beat him without doing too much.
