Yeah i love the pod. I cant stand watching/listening to national media cause they dont watch us and i know more about the pacers than they do by far. I definitely dont know the pacers better than Caitlin Cooper (🐐). So its nice to hear and learn real game insights. Please keep it up. I'll be on the Patreon as soon as i can.

Love the comparisons of how they used Hali earlier in the season vs. yesterday, it's obvious Tyrese isn't being aggressive or looking to score in those actions that are specifically designed for him to get to the basket or get his defenders off him. I bet it's a mix of mental and injury, hope he can shake it off and rise up to the occasion like we've seen him do before.

I wish someone would break down all the 4 5 point swings by the whistle. Every time the whistle stopped Pacers went up huge . If you can’t see this was a fix you don’t want to see it

fam... moments before the phantom kicked ball, divencenzo should have been called for an illegal screen, per the L2M report, and it would have been his 6th foul. Let that sink in while you try to weigh what impact the refs had in the final minute, let alone 90% of the 4th quarter.

Lets face it also, the starters were not that good compare to the 2nd unit. If starters were good, any of the refs mistakes late in the game will not matter

Both of us acknowledged there were missed calls. I just have no interest in being a ref analyst - especially because missed calls or non-calls don’t just happen in the last two minutes.

@@jeromecanon607 There were certainly things within the Pacers control that they didn’t control. That’s what the focus should be on for Game 2.

@@caitlincooper2125 I'm happy you don't go that route of ref analyst, but us fans will gladly carry that water. Pumped for the game tonight and looking forward to the game 2 breakdown tomorrow !

You guys are missing it if you think the refs didn't impact the end game. I rewatched the play-by-play of the first 7 minutes of the game. I found: - 2 egregious loose ball fouls on Hartenstein to secure rebounds. We're talking planting elbows on Myles Turner's back to boost off him mid-air and smack a rebound out to a teamate. Neither of these were called. - Nembhard getting pummeled in the head when getting blocked from behind by Hart. No foul called, Knicks gained possession. - Brunson jumping three feet forward into an airborn defender after pumpfaking (foul was called, Brunson got free throws) - Nesmith getting an all ball block on Hartenstein (foul was called, 2 free throws) - The Haliburton layup that was called a shot clock violation that was not one That's just in 7 minutes. When the refs called 3 ticky-tack fouls on Andrew and Aaron before the 1st half is even over, it's clear they are not going to allow them to defend Brunson. The refs seized control of the game from the start and made sure that Brunson was going to have the space to pop off, then when things were still close towards the end they made sure the Pacers wouldn't even have the chance to win.

Tyrese is having back issues, questionable again for game 2

That’s why I wanted to be sure to include that both here and in my written analysis - it’s been evident.

Brunsom certainly fouled Turner. I was surprised the Knicks even challenged it. If roles were reversed and Myles hip checked Brunson the refs would have reviewed it for a flagrant. That should have cost the Knicks the ability to challenge for the rest of the game.

Before Watching: Absolute joke of a game. League should be ashamed, but they aren't. Lets just look at the ticket prices to MSG and at the Fieldhouse. Thats all you need to know. The boys should be proud, they deserved the win. After Watching: good fair analysis of Rese. I'm not worried about him cause he is who he has been and his mentality is exactly perfect to fix his problems
