Thank you so much for covering this particular subject. Yes, the Christian apologists use this topic to convince their followers that this proves the Qur'an is neither unique or preserved. I also came to the same conclusion that they are ignorant, looking for trouble and they are actually troubled in their heart and mind because of both the uniqueness of the Qur'an and the fact that it does not agree with their narrative regarding the crucifixion, original sin, etc.

With respect, your explanation is inaccurate and misleading brother. Muslims in America read a different Quran than Muslims in North Africa. It’s not just dialectical. Some Qurans have more/less surahs. It’s not just Christian’s. Atheist scholars and even Muslim scholars like Yasir Qadhi and Java’s hashmi have spoken on this as well.
