For battery life improvement turn off the hey Meta feature and move that to touching the glasses. My glasses now last all day from 7am to 11pm depending on what I’m doing.

I wish it was wide angle and I thought it would bother me more but it honestly hasn’t. I’m not taking a ton of photos and videos but it’s great for when I need to do something quickly without pulling a phone out and prepping to take a video or a camera in focus.

I was totally wrong about these glasses. I got them a month an a half ago they worked fine at first ,then stopped abruptly..I thought something was wrong so I returned them an got another pair.There was nothing wrong with the glasses, I just had not gotten the update an over reacted to soon. My advice .When you first get your glasses if they seem to not be answering questions,be patient. Factory reset them, reboot app download update before you turn on auto update. Make sure glasses say your glasses are updated an let auto update turn on automatically. At least that's what worked for me,now .these glasses are (GREAT)!

Turn off the hey meta as it is always actively listening and go for the touch feature instead. That will save you lots of battery

One big update I am still waiting for is to have video record in horizontal format versus vertical. I don't use TikTok and prefer my footage to actually match my monitor or wow, TV. Any chance they will have a software update to record horizontally, even if they do so using software? Using software options to do so will cut out resolution but atleast keep me from having to do it manually in video editing apps). This is the only thing holding me back from getting them.

A horizontal video from this sensor could only be up to 720p and would be a pretty substantial crop. It’s possible, but probably better if you crop it to your liking in post because it would be pretty hard to frame such a small part of the sensor while recording.

In a museum, title, artist, date, significance of a painting or sculpture. In a zoo, name of animal, place of origin, what it eats, etc. Maybe it can also do elementry, junior high math homework problems for you.

Id like to get these but my prescription only covers one pair of glasses a year so I'm worried if I get them they won't be great. Just started looking for these. I did go to an optical shop and they have their own lenses for prescription. The cost is $150 CDN and another $50 CDN for the prescription. I just need bifocal so it does seem worth it, I'll go with my reading glasses. There may be other channels prescription lenses but I am not aware of these right now. I hope you find what you need.

I have a DJI Osmo pocket 3, in which I connect it to a battery bank, and rarely worry about running out of battery, I can continuously record up to 4 hours at 1080p, and not even worry about overheating as well. So can you do that with the Ray-ban? is the 32gb fixed? and can it be expanded, does it have an micro sd slot? It might not have it, but you fail to mention it.

@Techninjaspeaks I do get that people could complain about not knowing they are being recorded. But I've always felt when it comes to recording people in public that as long as you don't break any laws it should be fair game. CPU heat and battery life are issues, but I think that's an easy solve. I wear these really subtle sleeve things on my glasses when I throw the football so they stay on my head. If they had a cord that went down the back of my shirt and into my pocket that wouldn't look too weird or feel too awkward. And connecting the glasses to our phone physically would let us take full advantage of the power of our phones. Maybe this would need to be an Apple or Android collab rather than Meta for that to happen though.
