Have had one for more than fifty years and purchased new. It is a Mk 4 and still runs great. Just a couple of services over the years.

Probably just the lighting but it has more of a nickel color and I don't see any yellowing of the hands and face. The "Great White" is domed and doesn't stick up on the sides of the acrylic, nor does it have the same text on the case-back.

It's one of the nicest unmolested MkII dials I've seen, but I own an AD and we've never seen one sell for more than $85K.

@@GustapoGomez we’re told to put the pieces in the display. There is no formal wait list per se. in the past we had a client dbase and would go down the list and call clients who would have to buy or pass while we had them on the phone. That process has been abolished.

You should source some correct matching hands, t-39 crystal and insert for it. Those bright shiny white hands just kill the look. Unless it’s just the reflection of that service crystal.

The double red is super cool. But all aluminium seadweller (therefore without cyclop) are all cool, good size etc.. Even the last one from 2000 are perfect because modern mvt, saphir and last one of the série ( for collectors). Collectors rules: rarest and/or 1st model and/or last model. 😉
