How big is the steel band? The band that comes with the Gear S fits on the last notch and it just fits. Would be great if there was one more notch. Is the steel band the same size or slightly bigger or smaller?

OMG!!!I loved this video. Thanks for the many reviews on the Gear S. Awesome breakdown on the difference of the 3 platforms. I had the Asus Zenwatch in which I did like but I am truly enjoying the Gear S. Funny thing is when it first came out I didn't want it. Your reviews along with another KZbinr's review has really made me happy with my change. Owned mines since May 8th. Awesome channel.

I got it as an early father day gift, loving it, I had an Android wear watch before but as with any "other" watch, the stand alone feature of the Gear S is exactly what sets apart from the rest besides the nice size curved screen. Thanks for your review!

great video as always. Sadly I lost my charger a few weeks ago because I always need to take it with me. By the way... On Sprint it took me two weeks to get them to set it up right. they had no idea it was a phone... not a data accessory. You get bounced around to sub contracted companies who have no idea what to do. No joke... two weeks and nearly 5 hours on the phone. I still ware it... perhaps i should buy a few chargers to keep at office, home and car so i don't lose it. I do love it.

Hey buddy. I agree my gear s is without a doubt the best I've ever seen. The only problem I found with it was that if you insert a sim and use it as a stand a lone fone. When you receive a call to your mobile and it gets transferred to your watch. I found that im missing a lot of calls. The number of rings it has to go through before it switches to your watch is about 10. I found the average caller only waits for about 5 to 6 rings and then hangs up which means you miss alot of calls. If this doesn't bother you then i suggest anyone out shouldnt think twice about getting 1. Trust me its fantastic.

Love your feedback about the gear s. I use mine everyday. I also liked your talk on the metal bands, however, I shall wait for the coloured ones and other leather designs you talked of. Have you any idea when the other styles shall be available? Keep up the good work :-)

Good video, I just wish Samsung would ease on the leash on Gear S and make it a truly stand alone but of course still connected to main phone, by having a stand alone email client, contacts to create or just download complete contacts from main phone, gps maps just to name a few. And more apps, specially stand alone ones, facebook client or other social media apps would be nice too.

The standalone function is the hands down number 1 reason I own this watch. I hope the app store gets better but I love this thing. also where did you get the metal band? I can't find bands outside the standard ones.

LPX Tech Enjoy your videos; I ordered the Gear S when WOOT! had it on sale last week. It will be here tomorrow. Couple of questions. Is there a podcast app? an Audible app? I like to listen to both on my long walks and short runs. Is storing music on it easy to do? Also, I hear people say that S Voice is not great so I am not expecting much, all I want is for it to set up reminders and add events to my Google calendar and call and text my contacts. Also do you think it will get Samsung Looppay capability? Not sure of the hardware needs for that payment system.

I love my gear s but I'm have the same problem when I had the neo2 on the back part one of the pins is crawling away. I was wondering if you had the same problem or do you know how to fix it

Michael ONeil I haven't had an issue with the pins at all for me, but if you are within the 1 year samsung should replace it for you.

It was like with my neo 2 and they said it cost $250 to fix becouse it was a Universal device It's not under the one year. Im on board 100 percent on your new gears straps I'll support you

I think that app is gone now? I had it for about two months then one day it was BLANK?? No videos would load. I don't know if that app infringed on KZbin but it's no longer available.

Just yesterday I got compliments about the watch from 2 different chicks at the gym, they both thought it was the apple watch.. The only little thing I don't like about it is s voice

Samsung needs to put way more emphasizes on promoting the Gear S like they do with their phones. I don't really recall seeing any commercials or ads online or TV advertising the Gear S? I agree I think who ever is the marketing director should be FIRED!!! Everyday I'm explaining to people what my watch is....and especially to the morons who think it's the Apple Watch. Samsung should pay US the consumers for such advertising and explaining. What's up with the band's for these watches?? Why does third party people have to keep us happy? Why didn't Samsung put out any band's like they stated? Samsung can be so much greater than Apple if they really just stuck to the basics of keeping the consumers happy! Don't get me wrong I own Samsung everything from TV to sound bars down to phones and watches and I love their products but it just feels like they throw every update or accessories on the back burner. That sucks big time! Hoping things change. FIRE THE MARKETING DIRECTOR!!
