There's this crazy concept out there. Not sure what it's called, but it goes something like this: You buy one crate and when you fish for smallies in the river, you pack it with baits for river smallies. When you are fishing for largemouth, you take out the smallie boxes and put in new boxes with baits for largemouth. Crazy concept for sure, but a lot of folks do it that way. Lol

I’ve dumped it out and started over in the past. As often as I switch gears from one to the other in consecutive days, this is more convenient.

If he's fishing for different species often enough. It would save time and hassle to just have dedicated boxes for each.

Checkout Lowes' Kobalt crate, recently on sale for $17. They are sealed on the bottom to keep tackle relatively dry in tankwell. I cut the bottom off of one and made a hinged cover for the other. I had rod holder from older rigs but prefer to mount rods on my rails. Not a IP67 rig, but will keep rain and major splashes off my gear... for about $35!

I absolutely get the three different 13 x 13 boxes. I just picked up a used Hobie Pro Angler 14 Mirage 180 and am opting for the Lake largemouth only and having sold an older bass boat but enjoyed having the variety of baits, niche techniques I am opting for the largest 16 x 16” size. New subscriber, enjoying my first vid of yours!😀

I understand your concept with having many boxes for your different fishing. You must be fishing much more than the average person does, and this is a time saver for you. I have the time to sort through before my trips and load the Plano boxes I need. Thanks

For years, I have made a habit out of dumping the entire contents of my BlackPak on the floor and only putting back in what is seasonally appropriate. It keeps us from being bogged down with too much tackle that works on last months best patterns.

Where is the video about what you put into each of the boxes? That is where I struggle most when minimizing

just what I was looking for. in the process of down sizing my bass gear. and in the process of redoing my lynx. this will be the box i need. just to bad the Plano edge don't have any swim jig boxes. need to find one for them.and get a 3600 for my tackle since the 3700 won't fit. thanks again for some great ideas 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I keep reorganizing my tackle, trying to put away what I am not currently using. Seasonal changes mean different gear goes in, and I have to make room!

and I have found out that Plano edge does have a 3609 jig and small crankbait box.

How are the ‘near’ horizontal Tether Tube rod holders working for you? I’m considering the 13x16 BlackPak for my Crescent Lite Tackle if I can get at least one ‘near’ horizontal Tether Tube per side. I think the tank well is wide enough with the long end of the BlackPak going front to back of the kayak.
@TheLittleStuff Жыл бұрын
I like them, but I don’t always use them. I always use the horizontal Omega and Omega Pro with the SideArm link so they are staggered side by side.
@davidegrillanda5802 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for your videos Mr. Little. I wanted to ask you if it was possible to mount three rod holders per side horizontally on the Black pack Pro. Have you ever tried?
@TheLittleStuff2 жыл бұрын
I think that if you went with the AR Tubes and a double header with one Tether Tube below, you can do it. I would have to play with more parts to figure it out.
@davidegrillanda5802 жыл бұрын
@@TheLittleStuff Thanks for your kindness Mr. Little, but I don't understand. I'm Italian and I don't know AR tubes. If I bought the Black pack pro 16 "× 16" then You think that I would not be able to mount the rod holders supplied, three on each side, horizontally? Many thank's for Your time.

Been pondering buying the 13x13. Just afraid I'll end up carrying more stuff than I do now if I get one. How is the Active target working out and has anyone tried using the Hobie peddles for their foot steering for the 1103 on an Outback? I want foot steering but there is not much room in the Outback with my size 13 clodhoppers.
