This is true and goes for any team KC plays in the playoffs. It’s why the single game elimination format in the NFL is so exciting, anything can happen. Year in and year out KC somehow pulls wins out and proves they can get it done regardless of the situation their team is in. Proven winners DNA especially in playoff ball. That’s a topic for another time though…

The team is built! The Three rookie and second year offensive lineman have made huge improvements and they keep each other sharp and strong. Two dual threat QB'S, two beasty backs, 2 good TE, GP, Williams and Calvin Austin 3, best outside linebackers TJ, waterboy and Herbig as a backup with Preston Smith, 3 stud middle backers, might Minkah, Elliot (who's playing lights out) Porter Jr and Jackson (physical) and of course our captain Cam Heyward playing the best of his career and mentoring young Benton. Quality video, subbed. Hard to argue with all the research. Steelers are legit. Defense is top 3 for sure. Special teams are top 3. The offense is solid but what’s most overlooked is how new it is, and how they are just starting to gel as an offense. From the playbook to the QBs to the OC and Center, this is fairly uncharted territory for the Steelers offense. Tomlin is a legend and still somehow underrated.

So my first ever full season watching football was back in 2004. Ben as a rookie steps up after injury and loses the very first game. After that he led us to 15 straight wins. We ended up losing to Brady in the AFC championship game and that was the first time i had experienced a broken heart. Next season they come in looking decent and we're losing allot to start the season. With just 11 wins and all road games we ended up beating Seattle in the Superbowl. That team had an amazing secondary though and thats what scares me. We know we can stop the run but our zone coverage is terrible. But anything is possible after watching that season. Any team at any time can find a spark and thats when i realized half the time you really dont know whos gonna go all the way. Steelers looked competitive but also have so many flaws so its a matter of our offense learning to score in the Red zone and our defense stopping slants down the middle of the field. The eagles bullied us AGAIN and thats not ok no team should fall short every single time they visit another. 1965 is crazy 😢

There is one weakness I see as a Steelers fan, our 3rd down/redzone offense. Actually having a big play passing game has really brought the offense alive as a whole this year. Top 10 total scoring, top 5 points against, far and away the best special teams unit in the league. They should have a good shot to make a run this year though.

A lot of people are saying that the Steelers are going to lose to the Eagles tomorrow simply because Coach Tomlin is choosing to keep George Pickens out of the game, but what they fail to consider is just how many other offensive prospects Russell has to throw to that can give the team the crucial yards they need to beat arguably one of the best teams in the league right now. Najee Harris, Calvin Austin III, and Pat Freiermuth have all proven to be extremely consistent players that give the Steelers yards time and time again. Additionally, defensive powerhouses TJ Watt and Cam Heyward will present huge problems for the Eagles offense and kicker Chris Boswell will consistently give the Steelers points via field goals. It's also crucial to realize that while it's true the Steelers have not won in Philadelphia since the 1960s, the Eagles are 0-6 against Russell Wilson as a quarterback and 4 of Wilson's 6 wins against the Eagles have been in Philly. At the same time, however, Eagles greats such as Zach Baun, Nakobe Dean, AJ Brown, Jalen Hurts, and Saquon Barkley will without a doubt give the Steelers a run for their money on both offense and defense. Tomorrow is shaping up to be a great game between two excellent teams.

I am not sure the Steelers can beat the Bills. Stafford, Kupp, and Pacua just played a perfect game to put up all those points, so I don't see that loss as much of a knock. However, I think that they should be able to beat everyone else in the AFC. If they do face the Lions in the SB, pressure on Goff is the best way to beat the Lions, so they have a decent chance.
