The weirdest thing are people who think they know more about security than the Secret Service. As if it’s weird that they don’t have drones constantly flying around at every single outdoor political rally just in case there’s a fluke chance one person is hiding in a place they can’t see. And it’d be us taxpayers footing the bill for expensive Secret Service agents to fly drones just to stop freak events. But I guess if people pretend that drones don’t need operators then they’re “cheap.” And of course, the possibility that baddies might use the same cheap drones knowing that nobody could tell which one is legit just isn’t a possibility somehow.

I then bought a PSA AR15. Straight out of the box, I gave my son a little instruction and said give it a try. He fired off a few rounds at 100 yards and was like, this thing is off. If you bought an upper from Aero with that handguard it would come with an M4E1 upper reciever. You can tell the shooters upper reciever is definitely not an M4E1 reciever, it's milspec, M4E1 uppers are less rounded arounded the forward assist. The rifle was his dad's, so I'm guessing he had an old DPMS and at some point decided to upgrade it, and swapped out the clamshell for an R-One. I don't know I'd have gone with an AR15 at all. Your standard $500 Savage deer rifle with the included cheap ass Bushnell scope bore sighted at a sporting goods store would have got the job done more reliably. If anything I'd buy that, throw the POS scope away and buy something halfway decent for the money with the remaining budget. Save a little for taking it to a range and really dialing it in with maybe 10 to 15 practice shots and now you're not only going to make the shot, you're going to penetrate the podium and be reasonably sure of success if you hit.

I am not an expert on the AR-15 family, since its forbidden in my country. But I dont agree with this assessment. He had a bipod mount installed at the muzzle. This makes no sense without owning a bipod. So he was maybe only short on time to install it. He had a barrel cover in which the barrel was free floating, which increases accuracy. He was smart enough to buy a forward grip to increase the shooting comfort. And he had the rear side sights installed at the right place: forward enough to access the charging handle unrestricted. And he went 40 times to the gun range in the last year. Which does not sound much. But is about once a week a year long. The only part that kind of sucked was the optic. My conclusion: the guy who set up this gun was maybe not a gun nerd or expert. But made some decent decisions. And ended up with a functional gun. But again: it was not the shooters gun. It was his dads. So the one who set it up and bought the parts might very well have been his dad.

Because there was no grassy knoll shooter in the JFK thing. That was just sound bouncing off a railway overpass and the grassy knoll pareidolia circus was fomented for misdirection. Of course this is my opinion. As far as the recent attempt, there was another or more crack-pop signatures in the "panic dump" that didn't match the same shot distance signature 🤔 I didn't take someone else's word for that, I actually slowed down the podium footage in a video editor and studied the crack-pop gaps as follows: CRACK popCRACK pop CRACKCRACK pop... pop. That last pop came too late to be the same distance. Edit: "crack-pop" is what I call the bullet crack and the trailing muzzle report... Through a mic and in the footage it's more of a TSSS-thump.

My gut reaction was that the shooter was not very experienced or knowledgeable. Although not being a rifle guy, I nonetheless assumed that a 145 yard shot with a properly zeroed modern rifle should have been no real problem for an experienced rifle shooter. The information regarding your theory that the rifle was zeroed for 25 yards was very interesting and, honestly, counter-intuitive. I would have thought that the bullet would hit low at 145 yards if the weapon was zeroed for 25 yards. Anyway, I don't think the subject of this video is inappropriate and, trust me, I am exactly the kind of flower-power, Kumbaya singing, fruitcake who would happily criticize your for knowing all about guns if I thought I could get away with it. Barrel nut torque tension can be used to change barrel harmonics (the frequency it vibrates at) to tighten up groups (like how tightening a guitar string changes the pitch/frequency) if you play with the amount of torque. When I first installed the barrel it shot 3 MOA, soon as I changed barrel nut torque to find the right "note" it now shoots 1/2 MOA.
