Looking forward to engaging on here with all you guys. Im from the UK but been a supporter of the Jazz since 1987, and hopefully getting to SLC for my first 'LIVE in-person' game next season. Until then YT and NBA TV and anything else you can suggest.

Thank you for the comment. Glad to have you in the fold. Definitely need to get to a Jazz game. We made a video about who the stadium won’t be the same after this season so if you can I’d get to a home game asap to experience the game the same way since the ages of Stockton and Malone days

Thanks guys, agree💯 . I think the plan was to keep Lauri. Every FO have to listen the offers made. I think Lauri will improve this season.

Thank you for your comment. Yeah they wanted a godfather offer that didn’t come and I’m sure they knew that. Just wanted to know his value. Thanks for watching

They needed to keep Lauri for sure. #takenote

Yes sir

You need someone like Lauri to elevate all of the young guys too - there would be zero growth with just rookie and 2nd year guys running around on the floor

Thank you for the comment. Great point for sure! Thanks for watching

Just wanted to add some context according to salary cap experts. While Lauri’s contract increases year to year technically due to the increasing cap his contract takes up decreases in percentage of cap space each year after year 2.

Year 1: 30% (Max) Year 2: 30% Year 3: 27.1% Year 4: 26.6% Year 5: 26.0% Source Keith Smith of Spotrac and The Front Office Show.

Perfect! Thank you for this. Couldn’t figure it out, but this makes sense to me. % of the cap is what is lowering but the $$ is what is going up. Thank you for finding this

In Baseball terms the Jazz are what's known as a Farm Team...Just good enough to compete but never good enough to win! Because of the way your GM Ainge does business must teams and players take great pleasure in beating that ass...You know your franchise sucks when you're known more for trades then you are basketball...Enjoy your 30 wins in 2025
