This shoe is for normal people. People who don't want to wear rainbow shoes everyday. I'm tired of all them rainbow color shoes sneakerheads has been flocking too lately. All them bright volt and hot pink and turbo green and neon, etc.... The geode is a nice and welcomed change, imo. Have you seen a hypebeast wearing hyped clothes and shoes? They look funny as hell.

Nahh. They’re making colors to similar to previous ones. These are almost the same as the Muaves. And the upcoming 700 Analogs are pretty close to the salts. People don’t want to buy similar shoes. Especially when they’re $300

I’ve been rocking these every day for the past 2 weeks and these easily became my favorite pair of Yeezy’s I own. Subtle and comfy. Really enjoy this colorway, super underrated. Suede toebox detail is great!

The midsole is not exactly the same as the V1. The "splash" in the forefoot area is significantly deeper and "cut" into the midsole. There are differences with the rear portion of the midsole, as well. Furthermore, the V2 is made of a different, slightly softer material. Finally, if you remove the insole and compare the footbed to the V1, you can see significant differences in the way they are constructed - The V1 has a hard, canvas like material covering the entire footbed, with a small boost window, while the V2 has almost fully exposed boost with a web-like fabric covering it.

They changed the shaping on the back end on the shoe. Love this colourway so much more than the Muaves, had to sell mine after i got these.

Actually I had low expectations before copping, but I have to say they look and feel amazing on feet. These + dark brown camo pants + oversized sweatwr = comfiness level 99999 and you look fresh at the same time

I have these and compared them to my muave pair...aside from it being a dark earth tone, they are not similar. The 3m and the gray suede hits really stand out to me and is probably my favorite part of the shoe. It also seems like these can go with almost any fit. These are gonna grow on people soon. Watch. It is a polarizing shoe in general so I can understand the current dislike.

If you look at the details they're really not similar, but looking at both of them from afar, it's hard to justify because 98% of the time they will look the same. Unless everyone you meet gets up close to compare

It’s called version 2 because it’s an updated version of the 700. All they did to the 350 v2 was put splv on the side and everybody ate that shit up.. this is a dope change they actually updated the entire uppers it’s a chunkier shoe they look better then the original 700s on feet imo. When these are going for the same price as the statics everybody’s going to be mad they didn’t cop

Hey man, really enjoyed the video. How would you rate the breaking in for these over the V1? I am the same size as you, TTS 10, and got the Inertias V1 last week. I feel like they are really snug in the toebox but people have told me to just break them in and they will get better. There's one last size 10 Geode sitting at a store nearby and I want to pick them up! FWIW, my feet are a little bit wide but I actually find the width of these perfect- it's just on the V1's the shallow toe box really sucks lengthwise on my big toe lol. I've only worn in like two hours around the house and I can kinda feel it breaking in already. Just wanted to see how it would break in to see if I should grab that Geode in my TTS at my local or go resale for a 10.5. Thanks man!

I'm a wide foot and I went TTS for both. your friends are right, they break in. at first the V1 700 was too tight for me to the point that I thought I'd have to swap for half a size up. then I spent a little bit just stretching the toebox out with a sneaker shield, you can do this with anything like a shoe tree or just anything you can stuff into the toe and pushing it. and after a while It fit my foot perfectly. I'm so glad I didn't go half size up. Hope that helps

The midsole isn’t identical, the cutouts are a lot deeper and more sharply defined. Also, the midsole is not all grey, the dots are navy blue.

The v2 Midsole is the only concern as far as creasing goes for these kicks. The regular 700s crease really bad and they start to look nasty after a while.. Idk about you who are reading this but i like me shit fresh and crispy. 💯

The Geodes are better because the V2 is an overall more quality shoe. The suade on the toebox is much more premium as well as the back on the heel of the shoe. More comfortable toebox as well. Slept on shoe due to the similarity to the muave colorway and people arent typically inclined to buy a brown shoe. At the same time it has a super fresh look, and versatility that the typical hypebeast cant appreciate.
