only first one is free. Pretty sure you had library card before 10yr old as you need it in order to load books from school library

This is a nice guy, who likes the library so much, that he takes his own camera equipment and makes a KZbin video just to inform people about how great the library is. He doesn't mention any prices for services. I just called Oodi, because I was interested in using the kitchen to cook meals, as a tourist. I'm from the U.S. to use the kitchen, you must reserve it for four hours and there is a fee attached, 122 euros. So, I changed my mind about using the kitchen. Maybe, this nice young man left out some other key details, that would be useful to know. I don't know the level of English this guy has. Maybe, he is still learning. He might consult a dictionary and see if borrow is the correct word. Perhaps, the word he needs to learn is rent. He didn't even mention having to pay a deposit for power tools. The tools could be free to use, but might require a deposit. I think this nice young man should consider making a follow up video. All the things I forgot to tell people about Finnish libraries. So, if you visit an unstaffed library in the middle of the night, no one will think you are weird and they won't call the police to check on you and ask you a bunch of awkward questions?

Hi! I think that he is speaking about libraries in Espoo specifically. Libraries in Helsinki have services that require payment, but in Espoo the services are completely free. Iso Omena Library for example.

Hi Louis! Library services in Finland are provided by municipalities, and this video is about the library services in the city of Espoo. Espoo is a neighbor city to Helsinki and Oodi is the central library of Helsinki. Our spaces do not have any fees for their use.
