@@Hi-zm1gn supreme court of India asked the same question and government of India said that African cheetahs are very very less different from that of Asiatic cheetahs ( which was native species in India until 1950 ) so introducing them will not pose any threat to ecosystem.

The lions trying to wall off the water like that was an interesting strategy. I wonder what the plan even was, though; maybe they were banking on desperate individual buffalo to try and break through alone? It was obvious that the herd could easily push through that thin yellow line if they felt like, though.

When I was young I hoped lions would never get to kill any zebra or buffalo or deer until I saw an episode focusing on a lioness having to feed her cubs; i felt sorry for it and hoped she atleast killed one.
