Hey Chizeled! Thanks for talking about Assassin and showing my videos on it! The devs are still working on Assassin X and it should be coming out soon. Don't know if it's gonna succeed or not, but I'm excited to be able to play a brand new Assassin game because the old one is just really boring now tbh. I'd argue that MM2 doesn't innovate much either, possibly even less than Assassin. As much as I love MM2, I could never explain why it's so successful lol. Great video, Egg Head!

Isn't assassin like a tryhard type of game. I feel like MM2 is just more chill and relaxing, you don't instantly get killed by throwing knifes which would make any young new player quit. I see MM2 as more of a social hub and the simple game loop certainly helps in not overwhelming the ipad kids/people playing on mobile.

Another great long form video! Loved the rumble studios part, I was actually apart of the rumble community for a long time; and each new release I got hooked, but the sad truth is- their games just die over and over again, because they refuse to focus on one certain game. They make more, gain more, but only for a few months; then it's the same cycle of abandoned games, quitting players, and overall a fanbase that isn't sticking around due to such a cycle. I think their biggest issue is the fact they make it extremely p2w and grind based as well. It can be fun, but having to do it all the time to even make progress destroys the game itself. Not everyone has the time to spend in it, the money to spend on it, and overall; care for such a game that takes more then it gives. Thanks for reading too if you did!

Loomian legacy never died , any roblox game had its dry periods especially for creature capture games. Its updates are massive and gets lots of players when it does.

They also have a fairly small dev team compared to other games , families to raise and they cant just constantly reskin everything like pet sim does

Unfortunately even Roblox BedWars is dying. Around a month ago the game out of nowhere got extremely dry and the developers are adding updates that ruins the fun… went from 80 - 100k to 10 - 30k

4:52 my favorite game as a kid. Young me would just play this nonstop. And then Arsenal came. 8:28 oh and this game, man a true classic. Young me played this game during a summer camp called ID tech. And I was taking a Roblox game builder course. At the end of the day while waiting for our parents to pick me and my brother up, we and everyone else were allowed to do whatever. And so, I was scrolling along the Roblox recommendations page and found Mining simulator, and oh boy I got hooked on this game. The simplicity of it was what got my 7 year old brain to get addicted. Man I miss those times.

Heres a suggestion for a game that died: island royale, one of the best third person shooter on roblox, not to forget it also won a bloxy award. On the games peak it would avg 10k players, nowadays only avgs about 5 people

Bubble gum simulator should be added since mining simulator couldn't even compare to bubble gum simulator like it was once called the "most" popular roblox simulator back then but they stopped updating it and didn't even plan making a sequel since the developers cant afford to make another competitive game. I just realised that some other popular games that I remember were popular when I was new to Roblox ….. I used to watch Roblox KZbinrs and then try out the games and it was super fun… I forgot about the game epic mini games….. it was so popular and know I’ve forgotten it so much as if it never existed….. years ago it hit a 1B visits and now it got only to 2.1B and when I once checked how many players were there it said 200….. I might have came in the wrong time but doesn’t 200 seem kinda low for 2 billion visits???? And what happened to pet simulator????? Ever since pet simulator X came out people literally stopped talking about pet simulator one!!!! As if it wasn’t even there…. I wonder how many players they get nowadays probably not many… I remember when it had 1B views and I think it STILL HAS 1B views I might be wrong though….(it does only still have 1.1B visits and only 59 players) Remember gum simulator??? It was so popular and now people just stopped talking about it as if it was never there… I guess that makes sense since simulators are kind of getting old…. Another thing- since dress to impress released everyone I think forgot about fashion famous and was talking about dress to impress… when I was a kid I used TO LOVE playing that game with my friends . It would sometimes be for hours…. I swear I wanna go back in time and experience that… I wonder how many players are they getting right now since dress to impress took the popularity…. Dress to impress is still a great game no joke… (it has 535 players when I checked)
