Jesus, may or may not be born in December but it is the reverence that is given to the Lord, that is important. Communistic governments don't want people to believe "Christ Is King", they only want the people to believe in the choices made by government. This year, it is very difficult to find religious items in stores, therefore, I have decided not to buy anything but to do kindness activities for the needy.
@janetamerasinghe78245 күн бұрын
In accordance with the Jewish tradition of lunar calendar, Jesus was apparently born in March. But if the tradition is to celebrate his birthday in December, what's the harm? So long as we love God every day and we are spiritually together in worshipping Christ, who cares?

There is a reason why the Bible does not give a detailed description of what Jesus looked like or the exact day He was born. Jesus knew that images would be made of Him and people would worship those graven images and the day He was born. He did not want anything taking away from worshipping God. Technically, His birth was calculated to have been more likely in or around October, not December. December 25th was the date of a pagan holiday that the RCC Christianized along with Easter (another pagan holiday) to try to convert pagans.

It has nothing to do with the reverence of Christ's birth but his reserection. Christmas has no christian origin, but pagan origin. The Apostle Paul speaks of the traditions of men and vain deceitful practices. Colossians 2:8 KJV - Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Why are we justifying Christmas and Easter celebrations for Christ condemns these practices.....

Wether Jesus was born on 25th Dec or not is of no importance to man he was born and thats it... Soon they will be saying was Jesus even born, making what was written the Bible all lies. This is all the ploy of the evil one to get Christians argue amongst each other as he know the beast is coming and many including Christians will settle for the Mark he will offer. Merry Christmas everyone soon a "Saviour" will be born onto us and his name is Emanuel

It’s funny how some Christian religions don’t celebrate Christmas (which many of us do to honor our Lord and Savior and the hope and light and peace and joy and love that He brought to a world that was dark and in great despair) simply because we don’t know when he was actually born… but do we know exactly when he was crucified? I’m not a knowledgeable Christian, but I don’t believe the Bible specifically gives a date. Since Easter is never on a specific day like Christmas, I assume it is then celebrated after a certain amount of time that passes after Christmas. Easter, also, has its pagan traditions tied into it, so how is ignoring Christmas (the birth of this great and wonder Lord and Savior) a sin but celebrating his death and resurrection (that also comes with pagan symbols of bunnies and eggs, etc.) not a sin? If your intentions are to celebrate Christ whether it is His birth or His death, how is this sinful? Both celebrations are to honor our Lord and Savior and to tell the world about the love God has for us and that He wants to save us from our sin and from eternal death and damnation… Even the Jews honor God and His mercy on them while they were slaves in Egypt. From what I know (which is very little), Jews have no symbols that they are to use because that is like having an idol, yet many wear the Star of David and light the menorah at Hanukkah. Does the Bible give a specific date when the protection of the Jews in Egypt happens? I doubt it, yet they honor and remember at the same time we celebrate. These celebrations are based all on beliefs, so either don’t celebrate them at all and just go out and tell the world about Jesus and God and the Holy Spirit, or use these times of celebrations to remember, honor and to spread the good news, that while we were yet sinners God sent down his only begotten son to save us from our sins and to give us eternal life through Jesus Christ. (For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16) So don’t curse me because I celebrate Christmas when chances are you celebrate Easter and that has pagan ties to it as well. The belief and reason for my intentions are pure and I believe that is all that matters! ❤️🙏🏻

People need to research Yeshua the son of God never said to praise or worship him but the one who sent him that aside Christmas has absolutely nothing to do with the blood sacrifice the son of God made that created a new covenant between God and mankind. Stop following pagan rituals turn from sin stop following these traditions as they do not honor God they turn you away from God. Yeshua never celebrated his birthday for a reason celebrating yourself is like honoring yourself when we should only be honoring and praising God. God is a jealous God so stop. God Bless 🙏🏾

Sadly, your "personal view" doesn't add up with the word of God friend. The Bible clearly tells us Christ was not born in the winter as it is written: "In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock at night. And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood near them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened." (Luke 2:8-9) Were there any shepherds abiding in the field in the winter? No! Shepherds would have gathered their sheep into folds before late fall and winter as shepherds would feed their sheep and stable them at their homes because there was less pasture. The world view continues to prove that what is written in the Bible is the truth.
