kinda gotta go with your big agate, but that banded chert(?) was sweet, an that pet wood at 17: 14 was mighty purdy...🤷♂️😁

All that pet wood!! 😍 I’ve never seen any in my adventures searching in NE OH/NW PA. Are you still willing to share some of your rocks if we pay for shipping? I’d love to add a Montana Treasure Agate or nice piece of pet wood to my collection. 🙏♥️

Billings area was my childhood home. Got agate fever from an uncle who hunted along the Yellowstone many yrs ago. (I'm sure he left behind some beautiful agates for you to find!) Most of my childhood rock hunting was along the Boulder River, but don't remember finding a single agate. I live far from beautiful Montana now, but enjoy your videos and the names of familiar places. Thank you for taking us along on your agate hunts.

CONGRATULATIONS young man!!!! I was to get my degree in medicine MANY years ago but then decided I wanted a large family which has been VERY rewarding! I have continued doing medical research for the the last 40 years and I love it! I'm also a mixed media artist and an avid rock hound owning my own business (small mom and pop) for almost 30 years now....I'm blessed to have found the time for everything I love in life and that includes all my grandchildren! Hope you are blessed in many ways as well going forward! : )

Wow, just stumbled across your website. I’m watching you walk down the river and I can here the excitement in your voice. I know exactly how you feel. I get just as excited when I’m hounding which is just about every time I’m outside. I’m in northern Ohio now, pretty crappy for rock hounding unless you like clay and shale but I lived in Nor Cal for a long time and you can just about bend over and pick up semi-precious rocks anywhere you go. It was like a dream. I have literally 100’s of lbs of gorgeous specimens. Got a couple of tumblers and I really, really enjoy rock hounding. I can tell you do too. You’re a pro, I’m just a rookie. Glad I found ya.

I'm going to be hard-pressed to NOT come to Montana for a future vacation just to rockhound this river. The petrified wood today was flippin' stellar! I'll be done with school myself in December and will be ever so glad to get to that point. It will be nice to just hole up over the winter, do some rockhounding at the beach between storms once the sand is pulled back out to sea and crochet my night away. The 24/7 grind of school and work is exhausting. Your videos are a bit of relaxation in a tumultuous time; it is very much appreciated. Congrats on being done, best wishes on your job hunt!
@AgateAngler4 жыл бұрын
So glad you enjoy the videos. Keep up the good work with school! The grind is very much worth it in the end. And perhaps you'll have to come up to Montana at some point for a rock hunt. You wouldn't regret it.
