I don't disagree that Labour will be worse, or at least continue on the destructive path the Tories put us on, but that's on the Tories, frankly. They had one of the best voter mandates in recent history and did nothing with it. They just saw the mandate, thought oh that's nice, and sat on their hands and took it for granted. In some cases they actively prevented some Tory MP's from trying to do what the voters wanted. The people who are going to pay for that is, well, all of us. We need a viable third option, because two party politics is disastrous when those two parties align on the same damaging policies.

The result of this election is a foregone conclusion, and we all know it's going to be mediocre at best, most likely worse. What really matters is what happens 4 years from now Labour are on the back foot, the Tories are scrambling to rebuild themselves and win their supporters back, and most importantly, for the first time in my living memory, there will (hopefully) be a right wing alternative party with a genuine chance of beating the Tories.

The only possible silver lining I can see is that the destruction of the tories might leave room for a more radical right wing movement to take power. But unless we can mainstream racial and national consciousness amongst the native population the tories or similar will just return with extreme free market politics draped in the rhetoric of populism.

I didn't think Sunak being rained on was a big deal, I think it would looked worse if someone held an umbrella over him. It reminds of McClaren against Croatia for qualifying for Euro 2008. Wally with the brolly.

I also didn't think it was a big deal. The music in the background was though as it spoke to how ineffective the government has been. The clown should have.been dealt with before Sunaks speech started
