fyi, I'm pretty sure pro means professional in this case, the headset is very obviously a less consumer friendly version of what the "apple vision", without the pro, will be. So this version is basically just for developers to get used to the tech and begin developing for it and also as a proof of concept, and it's not meant for regular consumers, hence the price.
