Just bought a QNED99 75" 8k Tv for a great price on sale. 1590 Euro. But I have big problems with dark movie watching (Blooming and backlight handling) So much I thinking of returning it and buy a 77" LG g1 that is on sale for 2805 Euro. Is it worth the price difference on almost twice the money? I have a dedicated movie room for movies and gaming and I usually look at it in the dark. @@Thetechchap I'm glad you had no issue ..but I'm telling you and I'm not lying! This Qned 65inch is absolutely Garbage for this Money! 1. Internet connection no matter how Ethernet wired or Wifi is always lost every day. 2. The image... if I'm watching sport, football or something that is fast moving, you can see a shadow behind the subject like a ghost, or something like that because it can't describe otherwise! I've set up the best way for the sport watching but absolutely nothing good happen. 3. As a smart tv must when shutting on to appear the smart screen with all Apps, but instead is opening for the cable option to be used..but these days almost no one uses cable tv .... streaming and there you need to see the apps as the first option, that's my opinion...ya apps are pops up on the bottom for very short...few seconds and if you don't touch immediately it disappear and you must touch the home for apps again...for me this is inconvenient as well! 4. If you have connected for example a firestick, it is also annoying that when i go out for one app from LG it pops up the firestick to go ...but without touching any Taste... crazy tv. 5. The store for Apps, if you want to download an app but first you want to read what does this app and if you don't want that app and you have no other options but to touch the back button and instead to go in the store to see further the list with what did you searched...it goes total out on the main screen 🤦🤦 This tv normally Price was "2800€" but I bought it on BlackFriday last year for 1700€ but I'm telling you this tv is worth Not more than 500€ even for this 65inch. I've not so much time to describe more and clear but I hope you understand what i have written here! Tks for the question 👍

Do not buy this TV! I purchased this with my own money and it's not any better than my 5 year old Sony. The screen suffers from dirty screen effect and other issues. It's going to cost me an arm and a leg to return so will make a REAL review. I like LG but there's loads of KZbinrs getting sent free testing units and I don't feel that the truth is coming out. There's obvious surplus stock as there's lots of new videos popping up. Please save your money and buy something other than this. There's positives but I would score this TV around 60% based on my knowledge and aging 5 year old Sony.

OLED is not dark unless he put the brighness low. I have WOLED, QD-OLED and Mini LED in house and NONE of them are dark. All the techs have pros and cons. OLED is still unbeatable for best immersion with lights off due to no distracting backlight issues and insane contrast + perfect black level. LCD is better for day viewing due to higher brightness, but only slightly. The same brightness is what gets you in trouble when lights go dim or completely off, because it reveals backlight bleed, halo effect and blooming etc. QD-OLED is the king right now, followed by WOLED and then LCD with Mini LED on 3rd place. Regular LCD is quite dead and rubbish. Especially edge lit is utter trash. Just horrible for night time viewing.

It's mostly IPTV apps that was available on webos on my TV. Here's s tip though. When you're in an app long press the back button and it will shut down the app completely freeing up ram making web is run slightly wuicker and with the magic remote hold 0 to set quick access buttons for apps.
