Im surprised no one has noticed that they do this on purpose, because im expecting when they add the next big and powerful creature, they're going to go back to nerf this one and others. They do it for the hype and its quite easy to see with almost every new tier 5 compared to old powerful ones.

Gnol is still very good and can kill it castle which yes I tested castle would only do 180 while gnol does 650 bc of weight and a lot more dmg then castle the castle is jus a tank and stats effect creature I suppose

A few tips how to combat 1. it isnt immune to frostbite and corrosive 2. long hitbox + its bite hitbox is located wayy in the front so it allows littler creatures to bite its tail or abuse its turn rate 3. its very slow and a HUUUGE hitbox for walking so if you dont want to fight it just run away its that simple, even if it swims fast it cannot dart and probably wont fit in lotta underwater tunnels. 4. health points dont matter if youre fighting something that disables your health regen so it can just kill you the long way

It is still very conditional as they can turn surprisingly fast and its head can bite on its side, i highly recommend you just grab a kora or boreal and brute force the castle siege style

Has to be a nightmare to deal with,though,full immunity to pretty much everything paired with its weight and health points is quite crazy,though it does make sense for a castle I suppose. Ottovantoon I kind of like the idea of introducing monolithic creatures to the game, some things are simply greater than one creatures effort, some creatures are made to be unkillable and simply observed in awe, playing as a tier three and observing these titans makes the world that much more lively and thrilling

Its a great tank with immunity to 4 things and 5 if you put a minty plushie on it. Its dmg is trash tho but thats fine it seems to be a support tank anyways and thats nice

Yes its weight and stuff is good-ish, but 40k weight paired with a measly 180 dmg isn’t really the best. The best thing for this thing to do is equip defensive bleed\ burn plushies.

RockTufan I thought it would be a Tier 3-4 but i was wrong that thing is massive! when i saw the stats i was shocked 15k Health and IMMUNITY TO ALL AILMENTS that is a Real life tank and the shocking thing is that its a semi aquatic well i dont really mind that since its a crocodile that carries a huge castle on its back and they added a bit of lore words which making its design really unique. Cute_FennecFury I mainly only played during beta until my ipad could no longer run the game, when i came back with a laptop - that creature was the first to absolutely wow me from how chunky and strong it was. I ended up always befriending them for protection, using tiny creatures to lay under them lol

wow. a creature that completely invalidates tonnes of others? followed by 7 others that do the same? This game used to be one of my favourites, and went from a well balanced survival game based on scientifically plausible alien ecosystems to every week a new super epic giant carnivore gets added that makes 7 others unviable. I have played this game since 2020, got jotunhel when it first came out, back before any remodels, when soch was a wyvern not a bat, and i have to say this game has stagnated for me. Major roster bloat, unbalanced creatures, horrible economy, this game is not fun for me anymore.

tbh, Magnacetus and the flier Gutting have been the only major balance flops recently. Magnacetus just ruins the game for over 95% of creatures in the game, even being able to grab Ghartokus and Empi. The tier 4+ flier guttage was unnecessary too.

It’s actually the contrary on the balance to make new creatures really gimmicky with a lot of active abilities and lower stats or brutes that don’t even feel like brutes like elarickier he is supposed to be a semi tier 5 but something like a poly can beat him the same with higher tiers hygos just melts everything a ghartokus only can beat a hygos with frosty passive this new creature is uhh not bad but not good with his damage he cannot kill anything and again others weight based t5 he loses I would say the only real invalidating is fairiocris it can go extremely fast probably second fastest flyers in game heals more than ani has def necropoison and decent stats for a tier 3

I played as Golgaroth the other day and I can also testify that is it an absolute tank and can withstand a lot damage. One of it biggest weakness however is that its own damage is incredibly low even with plushies to help. So this creature usually ends up dying sometimes not because it wasn’t a strong enough tank, but because it couldn’t kill its opponent fast enough. When playing this creature It’s good to have packmates that can deal high damage and ailments. That way in pvp, you can play as an efficient tank and have your opponents target you while you have your pack mates flank the opponents to get in tons of damage.

Ate a castle with my friends as dyea. It's not about the size of the dog. It's about how much time you're willing to waste trying to take this thing down with your fellow t3 mains. Very rewarding, tho. We ate the corpse in 2 seconds cause by the end we were all starving.

Against some of the stronger t5s, golga... isn't actually that good. Even though the health is really great, it gets absolutely shredded by several tier 5s, such as: Korathos, Lorolael, Kavouradis, Venuella, Eigion Warden, Gnolrok, Boreal Warden (duh, it's the strongest), and on occasion Jabblebashhe. And don't forget that it's NOT immune to corrision.

8:26 korathos is actually the 3rd strongest creature in the game, boreal is the strongest and kav is the 2nd strongest. Also Gnolrok, Gramoss, Pacedegon, Kav, Venuella, Eigion alot more can kill Golgaroth since it only does 180 damage

A tip for underwater fights is positioning your camera then strafing,whenever the opposing person moves disable strafe and turn towards them

Cellulosaurus I'm not really into T5 or PvP, and this creature really feels like something that was made with the intent of creating the ultimate wall, unable to run away from anything (other than a kora or a boreal, but since these are some of the few terrestrials able to beat it, it doesn't really count), so I'm probably never ever gonna play it. It's very personal, but my favs are all medium/fast runners with jump (lissi, dio, hiko, torch) and I'm quickly bored of basically playing as a rock that barely moves. However I think it's also my favourite of the royals in term of design, with some original feathures such as the moving eyes on the body or the literal runes on it's tail, with the other being Jhiggo in term of gameplay. Thinking about it, I think Jhiggo and Golg were designed as opposites. One is a frail and speedy trickster relying on it's ailments to deal with it's attackers and quickly escaping, while the other is what we know, a pure wall capable of tanking near any strong T5s.
