i think unironically garen might be lit this patch. like his core stride, zerkers, phantom dancer just got so much better with the PD buffs. and his full item build is ridiculous. if youd ever get to that point that you have stride, zephyr, PD, triforce, bloodmail and steraks, you get to 4k health, 400 AD, and 16 spins. before rune bonuses like conq, overgrowth and other stuff. lategame garen starts to really hurt around 12/13 spins with 300 AD normally. but now he has so much attack speed available from items that work well with his kit, that he should scale into a monster.

Also the AD from Bloodmail is coded as BASE AD unless they changed it compared to Arena which means your Triforce and Steraks abilities are going to scale from it. Every 1k bonus health is an extra 50 damage on each Tri proc and 10 additional Bonas AD from Steraks I believe.

I can confirm. I stomp most lanes. I watch erislash (best garen one trick EUW). He cooked up a new build. Stride into PD, then inifinite edging (kek) aka IE if you are fed or warmogs if you are behind. You complete both items regardless. Mortal is optional for heal cut into certain champs. Dead mans for move MS as last item. Also I think berserker greaves are a scam don't do it. PD gives so much raw AS now and together with stride you have enough. I go swifties instead so the raw MS get's amplified even more by % MS from Deadmans, PD, warmogs. And you only lose on 1 extra spin anyways so you are not missing out on damage. Swifties are cheaper as well and good for getting away when splitting and they send the whole team. You can just laugh in their face, heal up with warmogs and then go again. :)

Sterak's Gage is a really good item with Bloodmail since bloodmail gives base ad instead of bonus ad for some reason. The item says it gives bonus, but it's not true. This means Sterak's, which gives you bonus ad based on 50% of your base ad, amplifies your ad gain from hp. It seems to be an oversight from the devs. Items like Trinity Force that also scale off of base ad go well with the item too.

I just played a game of mundo with bloodmail and had 724 ad and 1 shot ashe with a heartsteel e for 1800 damage definitely dumb right now

I haven't played this patch yet, but for the last week or so, I've been really enjoying the unkillable renekton build. Sundered, Maw, Unending, DD, Spirit... I am excited to see if I can squeeze bloodmail in there somehow...

the rune is only CDR for basic abilities.... not ult. So like hexplate does show the additional ult cdr and shojin doenst show the additional basic ability cdr its hidden.

I really like this build, but I think merc treads and dead man's plate, would have helped with CC and catching people. And maybe go spear instead of BC since you wouldn't have the haste boots?

The legend only adds to basic ability ability haste which is why it doesn't show on overall ability haste, same as how the items that add ultimate ability haste don't add to that number either.

the quest boots basically transform into mobies but keep the empowered recall. so except for that its the same item. a lot of movement speed out of combat. i guess they tried to stop supports from roaming so much early on?

The gold nerf for kills is some bs, but we all know that has been the trend with league for a while. They have been nerfing snowballing and getting ahead for like the last 10 years and especially in the last few with bounties and such. Don't know if they will keep it as it is, but it should really come as no surprise. Also, we all know it will have zero impact on tilt or people playing games out. It's league. These systems will never fix the brain rot league causes people. Idk. I guess it is better? But it certainly makes getting ahead feel less impactful. Like, why bother fighting when you can hard int, get plates, and probably earn more than if you "win" lane?
