The nextbots in Nico's aren't really accurate to the original gmod ones either, they never ambush you behind corners and can instantly turn around without ever losing speed. Gmod nextbots always slide on the ground and have to cancel their momentum a bit whenever they make a hard turn to chase you which allows you to do things like baiting and strafing around them to potentially survive while being cornered. I like Nico's nextbots, but I think Evade recreates the movements that nextbots do in Gmod more accurately.

Ngl most of the NNs devs are actually super cool, can't remember off the top of my head but one of the ones responsible for creating animations as well as creating the tracks for the nextbots started up his own twitch channel streaming the development of the game, and ended up becoming a pretty well known roblox streamer, although I think in every community there are always going to be bad apples....

The amount of time thrown into this game is sad considering that it was just cashing in on a stupid meme. And they're barley even Nextbots in the first place. They're PNGS of a dead meme that uses the Nav Mesh to chase the player and that's it. *They're called PNG Nextbots people!* Like seriously, this stuff was innovative. They power the CSGO "Train with bots" option, CS:Source "CPU Players", and TF2 Training bots. The Sample NPC in the spawn menu is still 10x more innovative than the PNG.

why do people use nico nextbots and not just host a server on GMod like I have over 800+ hours in Gmod and it is way funnier then nicos nextbots and you have thus more control and better mods and such and you can run gmod with a PC from 2007 and it is compatible with other source games and other mods I.E you can recreate nicos nextbots in 2 seconds in gmod and gmod provides better support for PC players and modders and all mods are free from the workshop.
