putting subsoiler and roller in the back and mulcher in the front, one pass for 3 actions, only issue is one would need a powerful tractor to pull it off
@madyottoyotto3055 Жыл бұрын
That doesn't sound like a problem lol How do you load two on the back thought ¿?
@Jayhawk2262 жыл бұрын
In 19, flipping the subsoiler arournd lowered the HP by a lot. Not sure if anyone has figured out how much less in 22 but you did see a lowered HP amount.
@FarmSimGamer2 жыл бұрын
Hi Todd - yes it did, I remember. I didn't want to do that in this video, but I remember the 6m subsoiler in FS19 only needed 180hp, not 260hp!! Maybe they upped it because it plays a bigger role now in FS22! I might do a quick test on the flipping to see what will still take it!!
@SaneNoMore2 жыл бұрын
@@FarmSimGamer Yup, flipping it around does require less hp. I was dragging the 9m stone picker with it and had to flip it around on one field that was a bit hilly.

I watched quite a few videos about maximizing yield and everyone says you need to roll AFTER seeding so the seed makes good contact with the soil for germination ( real world reason as well ). If you roll before then do you lose some yield? The sequence I was told is Lime/fertilize/mulch/plow if necessary/seed/roll/fertilize. Any thoughts?

Nice video! One question: How did you put two implements at the back? I'm not getting that option.
@FarmSimGamer2 жыл бұрын
You can only do that with a few specific pieces of equipment. You can't do it with everything.

can you use the mulcher at the front and the lizard plow at the back of the tractor? both are 6m as well
@FarmSimGamer2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I guess you could although not tested that. If the width matches then that could work. Anything that helps multitasking, will save money on labour, fuel and maintenance costs!!

where can i get the front subsoiler ?
@RodrigoValeroArribas2 жыл бұрын
I have started in a new map and when I use the plough after the harvest bigg Stones come up to the surface. Am I doing anything wrong.???
@FarmSimGamer2 жыл бұрын
No, you're not doing anything wrong. If you don't want the stones, go to the game settings and turn off 'Field Stones'. Then you won't get any. Which map are you playing?
@replicasofthepast47562 жыл бұрын
how are you fast farming with that subsoiler? I think it's only rated at 10mph
@FarmSimGamer2 жыл бұрын
Not just about speed of the implement. This subsoiler is a plough replacement: 1. The subsoiler is much wider than a regular plough, so you cover more ground hence it's quicker. 2. It operates faster than a regular plough as well - also quicker 3. You can put the subsoiler on the front and have a second implement on the rear, i.e. set of rolls or a stone picker. So you can multi-task and do more than one job at a time - also quicker. Those three things mean you can do more work a lot quicker so in effect, you are farming faster!

Can also put a mulcher in front
@FarmSimGamer2 жыл бұрын
That is a good option as well. As long as you can match the working width. 👍

I really prefer the case plow that looks like the lizard one
@FarmSimGamer2 жыл бұрын
A good option. As long as it acts as a proper plough alternative that will work too.

@@FarmSimGamer thanks yes it dose it works well. Really liking fs 22 I've played them all and coming from a farming background I like how more realistic they have made it. Thanks for all the vidoes it helps so much keep up the awesome work you doing
@FarmSimGamer2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I am enjoying the added realism too. Like you, I come from a farming background and still do a bit now, helping local farmers during harvest. Good to see the environmental side of things in PF as well. I try, where possible to link back to some real farming elements and have a friend who has his own farming channel. I get to use some of his footage so I can link the virtual to real. My FS22 More Realistic Gameplay shows a bit of that! I made that, just before they announced the FS22 launch!! Thanks for your feedback. 👍

@@FarmSimGamer that's really awesome. And it's really juice you still get to experience harvest time I am still getting use to the environmental side of things still learning it so will see how that goes at this stage I am trying to run 3 farms on one map have a corn farm and suger beat using that to produce sugar. And a dairy producing milk might have taken to much on as a solo farmer lol. All the farms are located in different locations hahaha so yeah made my life just a little harder my wife finds it insane that I work all day just to come home and work more on my game 😆

so its a mod ?
@SaneNoMore2 жыл бұрын
Don't you want to seed then roll? I thought you wanted to roll your seedbed as well.
@FarmSimGamer2 жыл бұрын
Yes, but I was demonstrating multitasking with the plough, so unless you can plough, then seed on the rear, towing a roller, then that would be a little tricky. Not convinced rolling is really worthwhile for just an extra 2.5% yield bonus.

Mine brings up large stones for some reason
@FarmSimGamer2 жыл бұрын
Mine did too, but if you play with stones on then I assume you are going to make use of them. If not. Turn them off.
