absolutely more finesse and creator .. up as you said his reverse to amad for 3rd goal was class. comparisons are tricky but gakpo, jesus, firminho (again loosely : ) thats his thing and with 3-4-3 that works. as a 9 with rashford or bruno who play direct or as 10 with strong traditional 9 like rasmus. people were frustrated not having amad as 10 and understand but exactly as pointed out in vid while mf is sorted the 10s will struggle but inverted rwb is perfect its amorim catalyst its what quenda and nuno mendes did at sporting . amad has insane engine on top of all other skill hes perfect especially with maz as rcb. when /if quenda comes amad and mount would be incredible pair of tens. also could see mainoo there with how amorim uses mf bruno be good stop gap with ugarte. yoro could even be rwb depending on progress hes that nimble diversity is so key. quantity is quality of itself as sporting showed against city. cheers so enjoyable i cant stop smiling like everyone else. future is bright!

I would like to discover what Amorim is up to…. He can get Zirkee firing wheras ETH condemned him. It will be interesting when he unleashes Hojlund and especially Mason Mount. Just curious….. to me, mount is not needed in the team at all. But Amorim said he wants to keep mount. There must be a reason.

Don’t blame ETH. He doesn’t know. He isn’t a qualified manager to begin with. He inherited Ajax at its prime and the fundamentals are laid by his predecessor. Similiarly; like liverpool today. But the difference is they engaged a fundamentally experience coach to take over Kloop whereas ETH is a con.

The only reason amad is playing regularly is because he's being played out of position. He's a WB Under Amorim. In perking other of a normal 4-3-3 He's not starting ahead of Rashford and we all know it had nothing to do with performance. Rashford is trash. But he's english so I guess that's automatic start. Gernacho will have to share playing time with amad which was what happened. And don't call Anthony like the media makes fans look. Amad had more starts than Anthony last season. AMAD is being played out of position and that's why he's getting a regular start.

We always struggle out of possession with Casemiro in the midfield. Kobbie's lack of sharpness was evident as he makes his way back from injury but Casemiro struggled in and out of possession.

Yeah exactly. I was going to say the same thing. These two midfielders have to keep moving into the area behind the gate. If you watch gravenberch and MacAlister, they always try to make themselves available relative to the position of the ball holders. And our midfielders are terrible at such a simple thing. Ugarte does it better but the other midfielders ball-watch all the time and are as if they telling the ballholder “do something.” It’s so frustrating

M.O.T.M = Amad. This kid has to be a cert for playing. Get Mainoo back up to speed, bring in Yoro, and you could be looking at an elite right side. Something MU haven't had in years. Positive positional work (movement and passing) from most of the MU team. Still a number of issues in defending, but getting there. Amorim showed real class too. Taking players out the team and substituting to rest for the next game, along with giving players a chance to shine. Really good game and squad management. You can see the whole squad is developing. Big test against The Arsenal coming up, but mostly MU fans have hope for the future now.

The real test is against Arsenal....they play a more fluid style of play.....contrast difference to the 2 opponent Amorim has faced. A performance will be more appreciated than the result on Wednesday

Arsenal is the opposite of Spurs in terms of bottling, Arsenal always bottles against big teams while Spurs bottles against smaller teams. So I think we'll probably come away with 3 points although it will be hard without our Centre Back Playmaker, Licha. A point is the least I expect of us.

Realistically, it will be difficult not to loose to Arsenal. They are already structured, their coach already knows his players’ dynamics and regularly playing well. Amorim has just joined Man u and is fundamentally discovering his players fitment, using games as training due to lack of time, we should accept it. Let’s be fair to Amorim also. One thing is for sure; even if man u looses to Arsenal; it will be tougher and tougher each day to beat man u again. The day will come under Amorim that those teams who manages to beat man u this season will not be able to do so easily again.

Top work as always. Amad definitely starting develop into the attacking wingback this system needs. There are still issues with LWB IMO. Midfield balance bit quite there yet either, which contributes to issues playing through middle. Once Mainoo is back up to speed and next to Ugarte it may improve. Zirkzee as inside forward is actually working due to his strength link up play. However I would still play Hojlund over Rashford up front. Also Garnacho is better as impact sub. Ugarte over Casemiro Dalot needs to play better. Amad was exceptional. All in all happy with the 3 points. GGMU under Amorim 🤝

I wanna see Zirkzee behind Rasmus as well, always have seen a player there and i think he can really play into the team. Good on the ball and a big lad. Bruno next to him with Amad and Garnacho as Wingbacks. Ugarte and Mainoo as CM. The back looks solid as it is. Onana undoubtedly the keeper. Finally some glimpse of football again. Amorim is the man if we give him time.

I'd love to see a defensive video. Also, our wide players are far more wide midfielders than wing-backs, which is where everyone keeps getting confused about things. If I've understood Amorim's system properly, think Beckham's position, with the required work rate of Park Ji-Sung, and the attacking threat of Giggs or Becks (depending on side and profile), and you've pretty much got the general gist. They defend but aren't defenders.

My issue was on the defensive side. There wasn’t a lot of pressure in the midfield until the second goal. Everton were able to find their 6 or their strikers behind or around the United CDMs way too much. A better team would be able to turn and attack the last line of defense and create more chances. Even Everton had multiple chances in the first 20 minutes and could have scored. That’s something they need to focus on

My problem with this game was Mainoo and Casemiro, very slow in movement, unlike when we played Bruno and Ugarte in midweek. Mainoo I don't know if its because he's been out of action for sometime now due to the injury, but we know Mainoo isn't quick and has struggled this season playing alongside Casemiro. Our defense, attack and wing backs especially Amad did marvelous, our middle 2 was nowhere near good.

The two positions that i am most concered about are LWB and the 8/more advanced player in the double pivot. I think Ederson would be perfect to partner Ugarte. I think short term Mainoo lacks the commanding presence and stature to be the 8. Maybe Alphonso Davies for LWB but I’m not sure who would be my ideal profile of LWB right now.
