He may be referring to the cargo door failure during a pressure stress test on the ground. www.aerotime.aero/24272-boeing-777x-exploding-doors-damage-greater-than-expected

Yep, I knew about the ground test…which was designed to take it to failure.

The Boeing Company's sole concern is their shareholder value and with their severely unethical introduction of the pig in lipstick (737 MAX) they find themselves trying desperately to deliver hundreds of these problem birds that are sitting along with getting their other nightmare oops..................I mean Dreamliner production line delivering again 😂. These two birds have their stock stagnant and they've placed the 777X as a non priority since its market has dropped significantly. The gangsters at Boeing need a major culture change because the disease has spread throughout all three divisions Commercial, Defense and Space. The cesspool is overflowing and they've been exposed, one thing you can count on is they will disappoint the industry again that's because they drive on cost, schedule and shareholder value over quality & safety.

Always liked Tim Clark much more than Al Baker. When you have the largest orders of the 777X and the A380, you earn the right to publicly call out the manufacturers. He holds the success or failure of both products in his hands.

Boeing doesn't seem too concerned. EK and QR are very well known for complaining in the press. There is always a lot more to the story going behind the scenes. QR is currently even a bigger drama with Airbus on the 350. It's all mostly postering and that's how the middle east works. You have not heard the whining from the other 777X customers. Most in fact are quite happy for the dealy.

Emirates should cancel the 777x and replace them for more A350s.

He likes the press too. Mad a big deal about Project Sunrise long before COVID. Boeing never even bothered to submit a formal proposal. Wasn’t worth the effort.

@chrismckellar9350 3 жыл бұрын
@@johniii8147 - Boeing did submit a proposal using the B777-8 hoping that Qantas would be the launch customer but as we all know, Airbus is the winner as the A350-1000 is operational and has a track record where as the the B777-8 is still a paper aircraft.
@johniii8147
@johniii8147 3 жыл бұрын
@@chrismckellar9350 "Winner" but no actual order from it. Highly questionable if it will ever proceed. Especially with covid. Boeing never spent much time on it since the 777-8 was already being put on hold due to lack of demand. It's a tiny market. Like the 200LR the demand was always going to be in the cargo space.

@@johniii8147 - We going to have to wait and see what the announcement will be later this year for Project sunrise. The word is that it is still going to happen with a start date of 2023. All the flight and cabin crew unions are have agreed to pay and working conditions. The initial two routes will be SYD/LHR and SYD/JFK.

I am so sick of all you Boeing bashers but there are THE REAL FACTS AND STATISTICS. Thats why Airbus has kept their mouth shut regarding the MAX. They have had alot of problems including a automated aileron stabilizer software.

The 777X is failure without Emirates. As the A380 was. Make it work Soon, Boeing or scrap it.

Building aircraft is a tremendously complicated undertaking. Boeing needs to be led by the engineers again. The profits will come from good engineering not from squeezing standards in the manufacturing process.

Its not poor Boeing, its their own doing due to complacency and wall street influenced management they dropped the ball with the B737 MAX programme.

I'm surprised that unlike how Boeing sued GDC (VC-25B delays), Boeing isn't suing GE (GE9X delays), RR (Trent 1000 issues), or PW (PW4000 issues)

Boeing can't live without these 3 engine providers. They own some of the most efficient and advanced engines in the industry. Boeing will lose its competitive edge if the engine supplier refuse to work with them.
