Despite the unbearable national debt burden (and high inflation is one consequence of this and mass protest is another), little is left for the man & woman in the street - for the aawaam - for education, research, infrastructure, for welfare, health, science, technology. It’s only a matter of time when the rules of economics (and karma) will oblige Pakistan to divest itself of Azad Kashmir (not dissimilar to the proposed “privatisation” of national assets). Logically, it’ll prove self-destructive otherwise to continue to repress and bankroll an impatient “colony”. 😰😰
