I think, Real Tarak Mehta's imagination was way too good when the serial initially begun. The approach was to see the world through a comman man's eye. Whether problems associated with a rich buisnessman like Jethalal or Middle class man like Bhide. Everything was so relatable during starting of the show but now it's only about 'SOPHISTICATED TMKOC'. Sab Modern ho gaye hai. Even the writers be like 'kuch nahi mil raha hai to purane stories ko hi chipka dete hai'. Aur new episodes me new stories plus comedy me bhi dum nahi hai. I miss the jetha daya scenes where they used to do romanchik, serious, naughty convo 😂 I miss Jetha Babita Iyer daya compound scenes. I miss everything from where the show begun. And makers should stop this show because it's ruining our golden memories.

Two main reasons are: 1) episodes are not funny, they preach too much. In the earlier episodes the residents did not like each other and that was funny, now its become very predictable. 2) stretching the episodes for too long with unfunny fillers.

I don't think they need a break. They should end the show. The show was once a classic and it should remain that way in the books of history. They are tainting it with the new episodes. Taking a break won't improve their acting, everyone's acting has diminished and all we see is now overacting. The old actors won't be back, and the new ones don't have an impact or that kind of a hold over the audience coz we love and miss the old ones. The most important aspect is writing, the jokes clearly aren't funny anymore, and the plots have very simple story and executed very poorly. Even if they take a break and come back few things won't change that is cast and the fact that the series has actually come to an end even if they are still producing non stop episodes. It came to an end when Daya Ben left the show. When the kids grew older. When half of the cast left the show. When the jokes left the story and overacting took over.
