The reason Magnus Was never accepted as a good champion is TNA never sold him right. Before he became champion believed he could be chanpion as he used to beat everyone up and win matches and make you believe he could. But when he became Champion he couldn't win a match without every heel interfering. He needed to win matches on his own. Maybe cheating wise yeah. But he needed to win matches without the heels interfering.

I just watched TNA. Its going to fall hard at this point. At first I thought when Hogan & Bischoff left, that would be a good thing, I thought Jeff Hardy leaving was a good thing, but things are getting worse. AJ Styles is gone. Chavo Guerrero is gone, TNA doesn't have the rights to Universal Studios anymore, I hear TNA is having some TV deal issues with Spike & if things get *real* bad, WWE could go back to Spike & TNA would get kicked to the curb just like when ECW was on TNN but was kicked to the curb for WWF Raw, the Knockout division is nearly gone, the X Division is down to 3 guys, the Tag Team Division is barely there, they made Magnus look like a coward the way he won the title, and next week, its going to be Sting VS Magnus for the titles, if Stings wins, he's champ, if he loses, he's out of TNA. Now if you thought things are bad now with AJ Styles gone, shit will hit the fan when Sting leaves, I wouldn't be surprised if Sting's TNA contract is nearly up. All of this happened because of The Carters. The only *good* thing about this TNA show(1/16/2014) is that the American Wolves are in TNA, which wouldn't have happened if WWE signed them first but no, they're still focused on getting big guys like Cena & Brock. I cannot wait to see Vince McMahon or Triple H or even Shane McMahon show up in the TNA ring & announce that TNA is bought by WWE. Heck, I cant wait until a Jeff Jarrett DVD comes out, he founded TNA, where is now, in Japan Wrestling. I'm really curious what he has to say about the Rise & Fall of TNA, unless he already did it in a shoot interview.

TNA couldn't even fill out a damn gym & the attendance at Bound For Glory 2013 was poor, how bad is it that Bound For Glory, TNA's WrestleMania, couldn't fill out the arena they were in? I watch both WWE & TNA, I became a fan of TNA back in 2008. TNA was an alternative back then, now, The Carters are making TNA more & more like WWE, and you have to admit, AJ Styles leaving TNA & going back to ROH is *really* bad, that's like if John Cena or Daniel Bryan left WWE and went to JCW. You can tell things are getting worse for TNA, when Hulk Hogan went there, he didn't do crap for the company, he left & is going back to WWE, and TNA is having money issues. The Knockout division is down to 5 women(4 of which have been Knockout Champion already), the X Division is down to 3 guys(sorry 4, I forgot Zema Ion) & the tag team division is non-existent, and even with the American Wolves there, one known tag team isn't going to be enough. Things will get even worse once Sting leaves. No doubt they're going to have Magnus win, with heels helping him again & Sting will be out of TNA, I wouldn't be surprised if his contract is nearly up. I'm guessing you're one of those TNA fans that think TNA can be competition for WWE. They cant be competition at this point when WWE is known all over, WWE is going to relese WWE Network soon, people will be able to watch every PPV, all wrestling footage from WWE, WWF, WCW, ECW, etc., all for $10 a month, TNA is fucked. I been a fan of TNA for a while but hell the original PPV's from 02-04 are better than what is going on right now. All the underrated talent is not there anymore, lack of tag teams and knockouts, I don't see Dixie as someone who can make great matches. I did love the partnership when they had the NWA, the titles and rivalries had meaning and stuff like that

Magnus should never have been given a title match. Gunner should not be No. 1 contender either. Neither one of them are hot enough. You have two guys here who aren't even memorable enough to have signature moves. I'm not being mean, I'm being serious, can someone tell me two signature moves these two guys have? Getting a pop coming out just doesn't cut it for Heavyweight Title, you have to have history, feuds and moments that the crowd knows you for, that you're renowned for. Otherwise Scotty 2 Freakin' Hotty could be the WWE champion. But Magnus is so freakin' TEMPLATE and to top that you have Dixie doing stuff that makes it look like the average joe could get the strap under her rule.

***** Yeah, terrible examples. Alberto actually has a moveset and a legacy from Mexico. Sheamus has a distinct look and presence that separates him from most as well as being hailed as a great rookie long before his debut, and immediately started squashing people upon debut. Miz was well known in mainstream even before his WWE days and Jack Swagger was getting over on his history as being an actual All-American wrestler. Gunner? Magnus?!? You can type those names in that search bar above you and see what you get out of it, and compare it to the names you just mentioned, hell compare it to other midcarders/lowcarders on the TNA roster. They don't even have the benefit of being comedy, at least a joke wrestler gives me something to talk about after the show.

Non of those guys were build up enough or over with the crowd enough to be given the world titles, and were only given the belt to A., be transitional champions, or B., which is more so the case, just given the belt because WWE has two separate world titles (devaluing both belts), and they can afford to have one world champion that's not really the main champion in the company. What they did was the opposite of the Montreal screwjob. After years of loyalty they gave AJ Styles the most flattering exit they possibly could have at the expense of their own company and new champion. Dixie seems like "the champ" because they are trying to make her the new Vince McMahon character. Who was the big heel during the attitude era? Vince consistently more so than the heels he was backing up. That's what they're trying. As for their succesrate... total bust.

Magnus suffers as much from questionable booking as he does from his limited in ring work. He won their world title after shaking off a Whisper in the Wind from the top of the cage, and more or less getting right up from a Twist of Fate on the ramp - the guy looked like superman. A few weeks later, he needs half the roster to take down a single guy. If this guy was booked consistently, maybe people would start to take him seriously.

Bobby Roode should of been the one to do that match, they had enough history in fortune with AJ when Bobby had to fight all members of fortune and it was decided he got the push when he beat them all. For the match itself with Kaz and daniels interfering, then James storm coming to help. See, ex members of fortune for what was possibly AJ's last match in TNA would be entertaining. It was honestly a shit finish, the last good finish i liked from TNA was when Austin Aries out wrestled Bobby Roode, TNA's CM punk is not getting pushed. When was the last relevant thing he did?
