Tobey as an actor, isn't talked about enough. The dude plays a nerdy dorky kind dude, and is so sincere with it, so soft spoken. I feel nobody could pull that off as well as he did. While also portraying the brave confident Spider-Man who DOES joke, even if people say he doesnt. He jokes; he just doesnt joke in situatuons where loved ones/innocent people are in danger Unlike Andrew joking at Rhino and Rhino running over cars endangering/possibly killing people And Tom who jokes at robbers and gets deli blown up, which couldve killed people Tobey joked and knew when to joke I agree with you, i dont think we will ever see a portrayal as outstanding, as Tobeys performance as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. The two feel like differenct characters and you honestly couldnt image the nerdy Peter under the mask, when he's joking, or saving people, being brave, confident, taking on bad guys. Tobey is also the most comic accurate. Especially to 60s comics. In comics he also says corny stuff like "Boy" & "Gee", just like how he does in the movies. The 60s comics are corny. Raimi & Tobey nailed this. This may be a hot take, but I actually feel Tobey was born for the role. Whenever i read the 60s comics, I hear Tobeys voice. Tbh i put him up there with perfect castings, like RDJ Iron Man, or Hugh Wolverine. Sam Raimi chose perfectly.the perfect Spider-Man director, & the perfect Spider-Man actor. Both together, made the perfect live action Spidey. No nostalgia here. I actually grew up with Andrew/Tom. Tobey just did Pete/Spidey perfectly.

Love the video sir, I love Tobey's Spider-Man as well. He's an icon and was my first introduction to the character as a whole, I used to watch the trilogy alot growing up so this version of Spider-Man and these movies means alot to me, it is one of if not the best adaptations of the character. I like Andrew and Tom as well but Tobey is and will always be the original and also this movies got me into the Spider-Man comics too, I'm reading the Lee/Ditko run because they're classics and those are what inspired the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies in the first place. I was glad to see him return in NWH and get a proper conclusion as well as his version of Otto Octavius, I just love the characters and the story arcs in these trilogy was amazing, they don't make movies like this anymore. It is a solid trilogy and a great introduction to the character at his core.

Another reason hes the GOAT is his audition tape. To truly get the part, he needed to do a choreographed fight scene for Raimi which you can find here on youtube. Tobey was given a blue morphsuit to mimic the spiderman suit he'd wear. Tobey thought the outfit looked weird and served no purpose. So when the caneras were rolling, tobey tears off the shirt and shows his absolutely ripped and jacked Spiderman body he trained so hard to get. He then commences to beat up the thugs in an awesome bruce lee style fight scene. That was when raimi decided it was tobey he had to go with

Not a bad video at all, but if I had to give any constructive criticism, I'd say that you should try to better explain "Why Tobey Maguire is The Perfect Spiderman", because, at least to me, this video comes across more as you just going over various plot points of the Tobey Maguire Spiderman movies and not really explaining what makes you think that Tobey is the best Spiderman. Some things that you could do to better make your point is compare Tobey Maguire's Spiderman to Andrew Garfield's or Tom Holland's and explain what makes you think Tobey's take on the character is better, or even something as simple as listing some of the reasons that you prefer Tobey Maguire as Spiderman. I'd once again like to emphasize that this is just my advice on how to improve this type of video in the future.
