Dave Di Cola is, indeed, spectacular. Footy Prime gets it right again!!!

Regarding TFC relevance in Toronto, I disagree that "just winning" will fix the problems of TFC's relevancy in the city. The Apple MLS TV Deal effectively kills any momentum TFC will gain by winning simply because TFC isn't on TSN or Rogers. If the club owners own properties (Sportscentre/Sportsnet) wont talk about the club, there is no way the club gains popularity in the city. The Apple MLS TV Commentators do NOTHING to move the game forward in Canada. They are Americans who talk generally about league news, they are not Toronto insiders who know the club inside and out. This is a major problem when the commentators have no connection to the club. TFC needs to be worried about gaining relevancy because in my opinion it's completely lost.

I've been hesitant to sign up for Apple TV; heck, even hockey on Amazon Prime beats signing up for a TV subscription.

You're correct it's more of an Apple thing than a winning thing because the Messi boost aside, there is evidence of MLS losing ground to the CFL in the other two cities with both since that deal started.

@LeBasketballGuy That some games this NHL-PWHL (Professional Women's Hockey League) season, if played by Canadian teams, have been broadcast on Amazon Prime Video, has taken a little getting used to although: - my membership of Amazon's Prime delivery service grounded me automatic access to watching those games - watching broadcasts of games played by Canadian Major League Soccer teams hasn't been as easy as it once was due to that league's deal with Apple TV

I'll start by saying that I love what Herdman brought to our cdn mens program. But defense was never top of his mind wherever he has been. A new coach who is defensively minded could be the difference of what we need at tfc. We can see by the change of mind with Jesse Marsch how we improved so dramatically in the CMNT program.

This didn't work out but when TFC higher Aron Winter it was sold to the fans that TFC had decided that the Dutch model was the route TFC wanted to go. The academy had just got off the ground and it was encouraging to see a philosophy that was going to permeate from the first team down to the kids. Things started very poorly (minus a beautiful Javier Martina goal), Winter was fired after 10 games, the plan was scrapped and I haven't heard of a youth to 1st team plan like this since.

Jason Hernandez has been the assistant GM since 2021, and full time GM since June 2023. TFC STILL DOES NOT HAVE AN IDENTITY. Stop giving Jason Hernandez the pass that we did not give to Bob Bradley. Hold him accountable too. There are far too many Jason Hernandez fanboys who cover for this guy for some unknown reason. I havent seen any progress under Jason Hernandez.

I think priority number one is a proper number 9! We need goals and that threat would help the defense having the other team concious and defending a true threat! Secondly, hearing about this culture BS... errrr.... How about a winning culture!?! Good players that gel creates a good culture. They way they play is tactical and not a culture.
