Seems like the next logical step would eventually be catback exhaust system to let that V8 roar. Then every time a 4runner with a v6 or new turbo 4 rolls by, you leave no doubt as to who has the bigger, superior motor.

Thank you for hitting 70. Just FYI, i deleted my original video because i left something out. When i deleted it , one person already commented. You are actually number 71. If you reverse the 71, you get 17 and if you add them together you get 8 and if you divide it by 8 you get 1. Now if you take the one and add 68, you get 69. Yes, i know. I'm a half glass full kind of person. Cheers.

@@extrasocks oh no. I was afraid it was going to sell out. So just keep in mind if you go searching for another one, the inlet has to be 2.75" to snug the weld points nicely and the length has to be 12" to go from the weld to the rear lip.

Smashed my resonator off-roading. Got a Magnaflow overlander muffler instead and had it welded in place of the OEM muffler and ditched the resonator completely. Sounds amazing now but not loud (which I like). New tip is cut just after the rear axel so I can’t smash it again.

Oem tail pipe cover is like 80 usd. This is a nice way to finish the rear end. Though considering how much even a base 460 costs im confused why Toyota shipped with a naked pipe 🤔.

Hi Bob, just something i ran into while i did the transmission drain and fill. When you eventually end up doing the transmission drain and fill video, the overfill port strips VERY easily and can be replaced by a 12mm bolt from Lexus, same as the drain port. You help our community so much so wanted to just let you know. Also, any advice on how to remove a stripped hex bolt in the video would be of great help. Asking for a friend 😂

I just finished filming my transmission flush video. I did take your comment into consideration when doing it. Stripping a hex slot is real. I see what you mean. I made sure my hex head was shoved tight into the slot prior to breaking it open.

Yes, I have, but all the major manufacturers of awesome offroading accessories think I'm a joke and won't provide me one to make an install video. But i have to give it to them, their rejection letter was really nice.

why didnt you get the Lexus gx460 sport version?

For a couple of reasons. The length and price. I"m not including the length to be funny. When you walk by your truck you can actually see if your exhaust tip is just an add on or if it is an extension of your exhaust pipe itself. The Lexus tip is very short and looks like an add on. Whereas the tip i used doesn't show where your oem ends and where your aftermarket starts, if you know what i mean. I wanted the 12" length for that purpose. Price. The aftermarket is $30 for something that doesn't add horsepower, instead just adds to the look of the truck. The Lexus tip is over $200. I now have $170 to go have a Ribeye steak dinner with 2 side orders and an entire bottle of cabernet to myself.

@@GXBOB - Fair enough, but I respectfully disagree with "looks like an add on". I have a 2021 Luxury sport and unless it was pointed out to me by the dealer, I had no idea it was a add-on/other trim models didnt have the same accent. I really like the "ceramic" look of it. thanks for responding, and "enjoy the steak!"
