Why Toyota Are Looking to Buy Haas F1

Japanese car manufacturer Toyota are rumoured to be re-entering Formula 1 as an owner and engine supplier for Haas F1.

Supplying just an engine then the team is a traditional method for manufacturers to get into the sport. Between HAAS and Williams, HAAS is cheaper

Ford and Audi yes, Toyota probably wouldn't be able to get an engine together in time by then. We could easily have a works Toyota or a Haas-Toyota on the grid as a team by then, though - GH
