Why travel miles to have a good time? We found paradise on our doorstep and saved ££’s on fuel.

We've began to realise that there is no need to travel the length & breadth of the UK to find lovely spots to stay.
In this video we travel just 19 miles to Kessingland in Suffolk and where we have enjoyed one of our nicest stays in a long time at The White House Beach Caravan & Motorhome Club Site.
The site has two parts, beach front or on the main site which is very nice indeed.
There is a fabulous pub, restaurant and a fish & chip shop all within just a few minutes walk from the site. There is a lovely footpath along the beach which takes you past Pakefield in a northerly direction and onwards to Lowestoft.
Less than a 5 minute drive away is Africa Alive Zoo which is well worth a visit.

We have a 195 mile journey next week to a site near Lincoln, because we're meeting up with the in-laws and their caravan. Hope this heat goes down a bit, but it's the fuel that's going to cost. I get a decent 30 MPG when towing though, but still looking at over £150 for the round trip! That site looks nice there..... Great video cheers!

The idea was that for those who don’t want to watch the 25 minute full length they can watch the first 2 or 3 minutes and get a flavour of the area, the site, beach us etc and then if that’s of interest keep watching or drop out. The average view length of all views on this video is 17 minutes. Of course you can always use the FF button (that’s what it’s for). Hi Phillip, we found it to be good, certainly where we we’re pitched. We stream tv via 4G on our phone, so signal was fine for that 👍
