He has pleaded guilty to various criminal charges. This pattern of behavior suggests he may be dealing with untreated PTSD from his military service, and it is evident that he requires professional mental health support. In 2003, he led the Oakwood mutiny and pleaded guilty to rebellion under Article 135 of the Revised Penal Code. He also faced a military tribunal, which resulted in his discharge from military service. Additionally, he was found guilty in a libel case brought against him by the Binays. After the Manila Peninsula siege, he captured media attention, leveraging his image as a "rebel fighting for the people's rights" to launch a Senate campaign. Surprisingly, he won, but he has since been labeled one of the worst senators in history due to his reckless comments, dubious claims, and record low attendance. He has a talent for spinning stories, creating drama, and presenting questionable “evidence,” and the list of his shortcomings continues to grow. Without the legislative immunity granted to him, he should have been rotting in jail. He has pleaded guilty to various criminal charges. This pattern of behavior suggests he may be dealing with untreated PTSD from his military service, and it is evident that he requires professional mental health support. In 2003, he led the Oakwood mutiny and pleaded guilty to rebellion under Article 135 of the Revised Penal Code. He also faced a military tribunal, which resulted in his discharge from military service. Additionally, he was found guilty in a libel case brought against him by the Binays. After the Manila Peninsula siege, he captured media attention, leveraging his image as a "rebel fighting for the people's rights" to launch a Senate campaign. Surprisingly, he won, but he has since been labeled one of the worst senators in history due to his reckless comments, dubious claims, and record low attendance. He has a talent for spinning stories, creating drama, and presenting questionable “evidence,” and the list of his shortcomings continues to grow. Without the legislative immunity granted to him, he should have been rotting in jail. Given this concerning behavior, it would be prudent for Mr. Trillanes to undergo a mental health evaluation and reconsider his candidacy for Mayor of Caloocan City, prioritizing his well-being above political ambitions.
