Anyone know which exactly op-amps / preamps fractal use in their hardware (fm9)? Tried to find mainboard picture with good quality... And mission failed 😁

Must say since I have ToneX and NAM it’s hard to come back to Axefx III amp blocs. Use it mainly for effects now
@ZackSeifMusic7 ай бұрын
I have not had a chance to try either of those but they are definitely on my list! Do you have any specific suggestions for getting started with either of those? I'm friends with the creator of NAM, Steve, I might have to hit him up soon

@@ZackSeifMusic if you want to go hardware, both ToneX One and NAM Player from Dimehead audio are great options. ToneX is cheaper and works perfectly with other effects. I think at some point Cliff we end up offering his own machine learning solution for capturing good boutique amps :)

So many awesome digital gear choices now, but to me axefx III / fm9 is still king. Overkill for bedroom playing, but simply awesome for live and studio. Everything in one box, top tier amp models and fx, as well as endless routing options. I personally prefer to play it through a power amp and cab when jamming, and through monitors for recording or playing quiet.

6:50 just put a TwoNotes captor (150$) behind the power section and -20 dB solve your problem. Nobody, really no one plays Fender or Marshall without attenuator unless you are on a big ass stage. Why did you torture yourself? XD Nevertheless great informative video. The Marshall sounds awesome.

I like being able to setup and breakdown in a few minutes with 1-2 trips max and have the exact same tone every night 😄 For what I do amps make no sense unfortunately

"why their VINTAGE amps are the best on the market now" Best on the market? Profilers -- Kemper, Quad Cortex, Tonex, NAM -- capture the vintage amps directly. Axe FX can't _beat_ that. The best it can do is get _as_ close. IMO, it doesn't. Axe FX has its own sound. Whether you prefer that is a matter of taste.

FYI, my friend, the audio level in your title/splash screen is about 25dB higher than your core audio level. Very unsettling 😭 Great demo, otherwise....

Thanks for pointing that out. Must've been an exporting error as it's pretty balanced in my other videos. I'll have to see what got disabled!!
