Tubliss on the rear with sealant with a plug kit in your pack is a solid system. My buddy went 2 years wo adding air to the inner bladder on tubliss The tire finally went flat at 35 psi. Filled it back to 110 & he was go to go. They are not near as finicky as you may think.

That's wild.. Awesome to hear though, for some reason our high pressure chambers leaked down into the 80's consistently. I am sure that is still enough to hold the tire on the bead but the low pressure was even worse. It is a solid system though if you can get it dialed.

I run a little stans sealant with my tubliss setup and i dont have any of the issues you mention.
@TraceFridley3 ай бұрын
I have run the 2 Bliss for years they work great you're only mistake is you need to add 4 oz of orange seal tire sealant or stans sealant. It is a latex sealant that seals everything and you have a bomb proof setup. It holds the tire pressure very well and don't have to check pressure very often. Keep the shiny side up my friend. 😊

I have ran tubeliss for a few years now and have found different tires work better with tubliss. I think you were running the tusk dual sport tires on Alexis's bike and also found them not to hold pressure with tubeliss. Also the Shinko cheaters don't work well with tubeliss. They hold air fine, but they have a really thick bead and are miserable to get back off once installed. Right now i am running some Kenda gummy's and have not adjusted the low pressure side since last fall. I do add pressure to the high pressure tube every 2 or 3 weeks. My Michilene dual sport tires also worked very well with tubeliss.

Thank you for the feedback! I definitely thought about that as all compounds / bead designs can be a bit different. That's a bummer though because everything else about Tubliss I really enjoy.

I just did a race yesterday! Total of 50miles! And after the race I was inspecting my new irc JX8 and I put a slice and hole straight thru the tire literally can peal it back and poke my lucioli! Honestly any other setup I woulda been screw! My lucioli is still holding air.

Tubeless works great just get a portable battery compressor with a gauge Its easy to check before you ride don’t inflate high pressure side past 100 psi not 120. Running lower tire pressure makes any tire work better. Those curved tire irons are for mouses don’t use them on tubes or tubeless your asking for a problem imo spoons and the smaller levers work just fine it does take practice but changing tires is fairly quick with the tubeless just clean the bead on the rim good I use a damp rag and lots of armor all and only install New Tires. Oh and use slime too on the low pressure side after bead is set and everything holds air deflate low side and add slime. I have had great luck with this system and all I ride is the nastiest cactus imaginable and lots of rocks.

That's awesome to hear! We tried several times but just could not get it dialed in. Every time we would go to ride her tires would be near flat, brand new tire, clean wheel, pleanty of mounting compund, no pin holes we could find, it always seemed perfect until it wasn't.

@@AdventureDaily fair point. I wasn’t really trying to defend tubliss(I’ve never used it) I was more so trying to say that something you should be doing already(in my opinion) shouldn’t be called a downside for a product review. Now I didn’t really consider that it may take a good bit longer to get the right psi with tubliss compared to a regular tube. Typically all I’m doing with a standard tube is giving 1 to 3 pumps on the bike pump or letting a little air out. I also probably shouldn’t be defending a product I’ve never used. Sorry if I came across as rude.

@@AdventureDaily checking the tires is just as important as checking how much gas is in the bike in my eyes. If it takes less than 5 minutes and it can possibly prevent a problem, why not do it?

I’ve had some good times on Lucioli tubes but I’ve had a few punctures as well. Once punctured I’ve not been able to repair them. I also think the quality has gone down since 2019 when I first used them. Tube thickness seems to vary around the circumference of the tube between 4 - 7 mm. I’m back on bibs at the moment.

I'm running a heavy-duty tube in the rear with low pressure and it does fairly well in technical slow riding(keep in mind I'm a lighter rider) but when I started to ride further distances and had to go on asphalt roads, I had to increase the tire pressure to 2.3 bar (33psi in freedom units) because I'm afraid of de-beading the tire. The tire slips easier now because the 125 2t does not have that luggability, but I guess the trade-off is worth it to be able to ride at more places🤔

I have ran tubeless 2 ft and rear for years with some slime ,and have had zero issues with the set up. Going to try adding a worn out , cut rear plushie mousse at some point , but I get sooo much traction with the irc VE33s and JX8 rear tires ....but yes , even when running heavy duty tubes , I am one to check my pressures before every ride . In the past I have been and seen too many people caught out from not doing so . Can end an Enduro or dual sport ride real fast , or at least make for a bad day
