Why tunnel vent poultry farms are for sale

Great video! So much of the info in the video I already knew about but it took me months of research finding this information online through forums and groups. Your saving people a lot of time putting these videos up. The information regarding these tunnel vents especially operating them in the Philippines is so incomplete and scatter online. One thing ive noticed is all these farms are mainly for sale in Luzon. Its saturated in some cities/towns. The fly problem is probably cause these farms are to close to each other so no matter how good your management is there will be pollutants coming from near by farms. In the visayas i rarely hear of this problem… not many tunnel cent buildings here and the demand is very high here. There are many integrators still working with conventional poultry farms in the Visayas where as in Luzon you wont get a contract without a tunnel vent.

Sustainable solutions to Broiler production in consideration to LGU sactions due to fly problem 1. Existing Floor Type Broilers - Ccs1-3 - revert to use of rice hull or CHR - carbonize rice hull as liiter matrials for beddings - less /minimize fly problem 2. Retrofit - CCS4- elevated or MTC conversion - invasive process but more sustainable Ccs4- less cost than mtc but no additional capacity, elevated floor slats and bldg structures for manure air drying and manual collection even during grow - adv - easy cleaning, no need to diamantle slats and frame, cleaning same as conventional bldg. - faster cleaning turnover - manure was almost remove everyday during terminal stage, and faster cleaning of slats - less fly problem less dependence on chemical fly problem , MTC retro conversion - cages with conveyor for manure collection only - semi matic harvesting of birds are done inside bldg from each of the individual cages and using trolley coops are piled and outside the bldg. MTC with auto bird harvesting - automated manure and bird harvesting - less dependence on manpower
