Why Twilight Town in Kingdom Hearts 2 Is So Special!

Something that’s not talked about enough is the GBA and Re:CoM versions of Lazy Afternoons. They perfectly encapsulate the warm and fuzzy feeling that Twilight Town was supposed to bring. I love it.

I love KH3 for what it is but its sad to me Twilight Town in KH2 holds up better then KH3 Twilight Town does….. already.

Twilight Town will always hold a special place in my heart. I had so much fun recreating it in the new Tony Hawk game. It along with Station Square and Delfino Plaza are probably my fav hubs.

I’ve only been a Kingdom Hearts fan since January of this year, and having FINALLY experienced the entire KH series, I gotta say Twilight Town is definitely THE place that I would LOVE to live in if I lived in the world of Kingdom Hearts! On top of its depth in locations, major story relevance, and general atmosphere, this world just feels the most like home to me! That and it’s also the home of my favorite trio in the series, Roxas, Axel, and Xion (the latter most of whom I’m hoping is now also close friends with Hayner, Pence, and Olette)! Here’s hoping that ALL 7 wonders of Twilight Town (a.k.a. Roxas, Axel, Xion, Isa, Hayner, Pence, and Olette) will ALL be back for more fun KH adventures in Twilight Town and BEYOND!

Traverse town held a special place in my heart for a while, but Twilight town was still pretty cool to the point where i didn't even miss traverse town. So maybe Quadratum will knock them both out of the park. 😊

Twilight town will be forever be my favorite video game world. As a kid I would always imagine going on a vacation to this town. The bgm “lazy afternoon” makes it even more perfect.

I think Twilight Town was a good hub World and in KH 3 it was okay but it was a bit Small I compare and I wish we could’ve visited the station and then clock tower In the game.

Loved this video! The KH2 prologue is one of my favorites in gaming history. When I first played it, I was also wondering why I couldn't play as Sora, but as soon as I finished Roxas' segment, I missed him. Now Roxas is my favorite kh character

Between Traverse Town and Twilight town, I love them both and just wanna relax and listen to lofi at both. Twilight town feels like the place I'd visit to go see friends, but Traverse if probably the one I'd love at cause I love night life and that place just hits it perfectly

on an entertaining note: my first game was KH1 and then KH2 years later, i never owned a GBA so i didn't play Chain of Memories until years later. i look back on it now, and realized i was on the same mind set as sora, who had no knowledge (or memory) of Chain of Memories. a missing link as it were. so while i was confused with what was going on in the beginning i was very much in the mindset/perdicament as Sora and Roxas. the beginning also bothered me slightly throughout cause i thought something was missing, then the Kingdom Hearts II title card came up and that's what hit me, the title. and now the adventure truly begins!

when sky mentioned the gates of the TwiTown mansion being the birthplace of nobodies i had a thought: if a new nobody is born do they still get their name scrambled and with an X added since the recusant sigil is no longer being used xehanort?

Sorry but, TT is not really an hub world in 2 in 3 sure but in 2 this role fall tho hollow bastion since you have incentive to go back there all the time.
