He also weighed in on the shocking split of “Golden Bachelor” couple Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist. “Going Home with Tyler Cameron” is on Prime Video.

I don’t think old people being set in their ways is what happened. My mom remarried after 40 years on her own and it was the best 7 years of her life. They have now both passed. I think that no matter how old you are you can make mistakes and not knowing yourself is a huge one. They barely knew each other. They lived in several months of hype and it overtook reality. So sad that they were hurt. I also feel upset that this went this direction. It’s just wrong and I do think we expect more of people that are mature. Honestly though. Bachelor nation holds some responsibility here. Push push push. Not good!

Pursuant to Theresa and Gerry, if the relationship was rocky prior to the marriage they could have refused to get married. They could have said NO to the wedding. Was there no option to say NO we are not ready to get married?
