Please don't read that title in a negative way, because Keifer Sykes is one of my favorites not in the league. And he still had a great story. Salute to him.

I am confused. I know that I have heard you say it is better for some players to go to a mid-major because the NBA scouts can still find you. Now in this video you're saying this guy should have gone to a major institution. Please explain.

@@buzzerbeater3350everyone is different, some people need a smaller school to shine as a iso or major scorer, other people who rely on a system can go to a large institution and do really damn good even if they’re not as talented as the iso guy in a small school. It’s all about setting yourself up correctly.

@@buzzerbeater3350guys who can go be a main guy at a smaller P5 versus overshadowed by higher recruits at top school. Like how Harden went to AZ state, which is still a big school, but one where he could be the guy. Whereas Cam Reddish went to Duke and was overshadowed by Zion and Barrett

He didn't stick in the NBA because he signed with the Pacers at 28, already in this prime. And at 28, he averaged 6 ppg on inefficient 36% shooting from the floor and 30% shooting from 3. And only 2 assists per game. At 28 years old hes already in his prime and won't get any better than that.

If you want to know more about him in depth watch his documentary called chi town. Crazy I never heard of the guy , he even played in my home state. He was dunk all over the place and killing. Crazy I looked him up after watching the documentary and he just got signed by the pacers. But I think he’s right in the money. Keifer didn’t get the right college exposure and went to a weaker school

Some suggestions are Corey Sanders and Dwayne Bacon if you haven’t already done those two.

Dwayne Bacon could have a stunted growth just based on his EuroLeague career. Dude went over there and was killing, but can't stick long term with a team.
