Wow Mikael, the differences really showed up on your side by side comparison! Very clear to see the advantages of the new servo. Very well demonstrated, my friend. Now the real fun begins, at least when you get some good weather! Take care, mate! 😎👍

Yeah, I was actually surprised how much the standard servo struggled to turn and self-center the 1/10 buggy wheels/tires compared to the new one. The speed doesn’t matter too much to me, but a stronger digital servo is really essential I’ve come to realize - even in a 1/10. Well one can definitely still have fun with a standard servo but the torque and precision of an analog 3.5 kg torque and just digital 10.5 kg is much bigger than expected. Will be good for speed runs and going straight. The new one also got 17 kg of static torque so I hope it will help it with stabilization. Yeah, there’s actually good weather now! Let’s go RC’ing … ohhh, wait, work day now … and then kids … and then sleep … 😌 Take care my good mate

@@NordicRC Good points, Mikael - yes it's worth investing in a better servo for many reasons. Oh yeah, work, kids, housework and sleep - I know that routine well! All the best, mate! :O)

Thank you for watching Jeremy! Yeah, now I can write an RC Essay with the pen, enjoy some sweets, put stickers all over the house and enjoy a good servo at the same time 😅😀

Hiya Mikael. Looks like a very well made servo. Super speedy too. Great comparison vid my friend. I enjoyed the dramatic music whilst looking at the biro and the sweet! Best wishes to you :-)

Hejsa Pete! Yeah, seems to be of real quality. And thank you! Ha ha, yeah, I had a laugh myself about that. I think this is the only video on KZbin with super-cinematic-dramatic music unboxing a pen and some candy 😅😅😅

That servo looks like it will be perfect for that buggy. Candy for the car and some for yourself too, nice.

Hi Mattias! Yeah, really perfect specs for a 1/10 Tamiya.

Thanks my mate! Yeah, a real good upgrade. Servos are often missed out, when upgrading to a better motor system.

But the sanwa servo you removed is better than the new one!?. Was it broken?.
@NordicRC3 жыл бұрын
Hi bro. Not sure it is better. But definitely a more known brand. Pretty much the same specs (a little faster but a little weaker, and well, I prefer torque). But if I remember correctly the Sanwa is also twice the money. And the unit it is in got the high torque servo saver. I’d rather brake the less expensive. But the real issue was the low profile and the placement of the wire output. It didn’t really fit the servo mount. And on top of that I got a buggy kit coming in that requires a low profile servo so the swap was practical 😊

Can you recommend a good brushless motor and ESC to run 2/3s in the tt02b. Just got the Plasma Edge II and I’d love to see what options are available for the future. Thanks, this is a great series of videos, keep it up.
@NordicRC3 жыл бұрын
If you got the Tamiya ESC in the kit, a cheap 10.5T to 13.5T sensored brushless motor would be ideal. Otherwise I’ve had good experiences with cheap brushless combos from Carson, Surpass, GoolRC and others. A 3500 kv will be good for the everyday run, on road and off road. If you wanna go fast though, the high speed gear set or/and larger pinion gears are a good choice too.

That's servo porn, Mikael! And a nice touch from EuroRC they added colour matching candy in the package, and tasty, too! Yeah, Halko is an awesome brand, I have a battery from them, it's very nice! I also saw their servos recently in an ad, but I have been buying JX from one of the other Finnish webstores, so I stuck with them so far... That one looks like a great 10th scale buggy servo.

Ha ha, Mads 😅 maybe it’s a genre that is going to be popular 😂 And nice, you got a battery. Seems like a good brand to me. Quite good prices and still quality. And yes, really good specs for a 1/10 non-pro buggy like the TT-02B. Thanks a lot for watching my friend.
