I'm a Super-Uni and I run it on every tank. To the best of my knowledge the people I play with that are Uni's use it also. Typically it is bad or average players that don't use it. They don't realize the value of it or played with it enough to be good at using it to their advantage. If an era 2 wiesel pulls up behind you and you become spotted when nobody else can see you, that will give you a warning to react before they lock on. If you pop around a corner and you aren't spotted, you don't have to slow down to check. If you pop up on a hill behind a bush and you can't be visually seen, you will know if you are spotted and if your cover is blown, you can back down the hill before they have a chance to aim at you. It's my first skill on every commander.

I run it on most of my tanks. There are a couple I don't. But those are heavy tanks that lack mobility or for Yolo'ing. Some of those heavy tanks have such a large detectability radius that you get spotted early and stay spotted the entire match.

i run born leader and sixth sense on every single one of my tanks. its too useful even if u are arty. if ur playing the french amx , u can relocate if u know ur spotted.

The difference between 6th sense and no 6th sense is: going from a tank shaped smudge in the background or a ghost in a bush, to a lit up flare in the middle of the map

1. Its great to know when youre spotted BUT, its even MORE handy to know when you're NOT spotted. It really is. And i find, thats what i use it for more than knowing when i am spotted. 2. Another use is actually searching for the last light tank or 2 that are hiding. You might not see them but when your 6th sense kicks off you know theyre close enough to spot you.

I think it’s something they should give everyone or just remove it entirely Myself it’s normally the 4th to 6th skill I take for certain tank classes like mediums or tds My issue with it is there is to much fannying about like baby ducks jumping into the water When one decides to jump after 5 mins of you go no you go The enemy team has flanked and clean up The amount of times I’ve played with the enemy paranoia with em using 6th sense by sitting in camo and play the waiting game As soon as 6th sense goes of players brick them selves and don’t push And also players who don’t want to scratch their paint work especially in tanks that are heavily armoured

Just assume your spotted when exposing yourself. You also have the detection mechanic that lets you know if you're spotted if anyone looks in your direction with a 3 sec delay. I argue that it's only truly necessary for easier scouting. You can also count the seconds since you were spotted since it's a set duration. Pc has a 10 second standard spotting time for example. Dead tanks spot for 5 seconds, same for both pc and console it seems. To be fair CW players are oblivious noobs and 6th sense wouldn't have mattered in those scenarios anyway. Wether or not they can see you or just ignoring you the result is the same. They drive right on by without a care in the world. You'll know just as easily if you're spotted when they turn to go after you.

Counterpoint, well not really a counterpoint but just something to note, if I was in the position where I was driving along a flank and got spotted, I wouldn't immediately stop if I was out in the open but I would be looking around. Stopping in the middle of the open is one of the dumber things you can do, I will be on high alert though.

My first 2 are 6th sense and Born Leader. Although I used the exp boost skill on my commanders in the early days, I do not anymore. I'd rather have the skill instead of the experience because the exp will come. It just seems like it doesn't. 😁That's just me, though. Again, I did use it ages ago,and I'm not knocking ya.

Only time I played without sixth sense was when I first started playing when the game came out and I didn't understand what it did. Ever since then it's my 1st skill on every tank followed by brothers in arms or whatever they call it now where you get the 10% crew boost.

Bro, I only play co-op and I still use 6th sense... except on my Polish crew, I took repairs first one that and boy I wish I had 6th sense... not that it really matters against bots since on the Grom, you got good armor.

You don't need 6th sense in CW. But in WW2 mode it's crucial.

Been playing for 10 years now. I stopped using sixth sense in cold war for past several years. I see the points made, valid, however the gain I get from the extra perk outweighs the (imo) small benefit over the standard detection system. If you look in the left bottom corner they mostly go off together. Completely useless for heavies/mediums imo. 👍🏻

I only skip it on my Maus and type 5. No camo and well I'm going to be spotted like 98% of the time. Certainly there is times where it could tell me when a light sneaks by, but eh I want to have something different. But yea for CW it's pretty mandatory.

The majority of the games I out spot most of the other tank by by using advanced optics and camo net when you get spotted your advanced optics will let you know by beeping with a sign of an apostrophe having six sense is not necessary it's just a crutch 70% of the time that I play I am within the top 10 and I outspot the majority of the other team no matter what tier I play. this I know because my assistant points are so high Sixth Sense is a crutch

In cold war you don't need it bc of true vision. But I allways see the enemy and hit them hard before they can hit me. But I usally playing broken hard hitting tanks with powerfull armor. I don't play with it. But in ww2 I use 6th seens

Also they they don't see you bc there view rang is past you. And if you don't go in front they don't see ur tank. If I was in ur match I would have seen you parked there. And would have called it out on the map while driving.

Thanks for the advice. As a relatively new player I don't think I've got this on any of my commanders. I always thought the alert you already get is when you're spotted anyway. I'll give it a go.

Sixth Sense (💡 ) adds to the alert you already have. Sixth Sense triggers as soon as you are detected by an enemy player. Your position is then highlighted on the mini map for the entire enemy team to see. This is called being spotted. The exclamation mark (❗️), tells you when an enemy gun is pointing at you. This is called the targeted warning. The targeted warning only shows up if you’ve been spotted first. When you listen to platoon chat, you’ll hear people say things like, “I’ve been spotted”, couple seconds later, “now I’m targeted”. Platoons talk like this so they can communicate the progression of enemy team behaviour, i.e. you can be spotted and ignored, or you can be spotted and targeted which is an escalation in aggression. Always helpful to know what happening around you.
