Actually the big airports in Norway dont have the yellow markings. This is due to the ground service managing to plow the snow very Regularly. Some of these airports are: Oslo, bergen, tromsø and Bodø (Bodø is the neighbor airport of værøy and is actually pretty big) so its actually only the regional airports that have yellow markings. Just a small fun fact!

Yes, this is a fact! Yellow markings are only allowed at very remote airports, where snow removal is not possible to handle on a large scale. And yes, only in very few norwegian airports you'll see yellow markings. All major airports are white. No other nordic country has yellow paintings anywhere.
